I've been a regular customer since this place opened up but after today I'll never go back. My wife and I pulled in and there were cars ahead of us in both lanes. We pulled up and waited behind the car in the left lane when the right lane cleared. The attendant in the left lane directed us over to the right lane just as that attendant walked away. No problem. We then tried to select our wash and pay through the touchscreen which froze up and became inert. We sat there patiently for a couple of minutes with zero response. I held my hands up palms up to the attendant who was up by the entrance mechanism. He came out and aggressively told my wife to stop touching the screen and rudely explained that we had to wait on the other attendant who was still with the other customer ahead of us. His tone was ugly, demanding and condescending. We decided to leave and backed up when this man ran out and offered a free car wash. He stood in front of our car to stop us from leaving and then approached my wife's open window and put his hands inside the car. My wife asked him to back away and he refused. He kept insisting that we take the free car wash. My wife again asked him to back away and put the car in drive and he yelled "what are you going to run over me?" I then instructed him to get out of the way and get his hands out of our car or there would be a problem, we would go elsewhere. He then said he was going to call the police. I again told him to move and we left.
We're nice people and neither of us have ever been spoken to like that by a service person. I'm upset and wonder how my wife would have been treated if I wasn't there. Having attendants that actually try to bully good customers is unacceptable. We will not return and I would caution everyone. I understand that sometimes unsuitable people slip through the cracks but that guy actually tried to intimidate and bully us.
Never again. The car wash on Atlantic Blvd was...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but after my visit to Whistel Car Wash, I had to share my experience — especially because of Jon, who truly went above and beyond.
From the moment I pulled in, I was impressed by how clean and well-organized the lot was. You can tell right away this place takes pride in its presentation, and that reflects in their work too.
Jon greeted me with a friendly, professional attitude and immediately made me feel like a valued customer. What really stood out was how informative and transparent he was. He walked me through the different wash options without pushing anything, explained what would be best for my vehicle, and even gave me tips for keeping it clean between visits. You don’t often get that kind of service anymore — it felt like talking to someone who genuinely cares about what they do.
The wash itself? Flawless. My car came out looking brand new — spotless, shiny, and not a streak in sight. The attention to detail is clearly part of their standard, not an exception.
I highly recommend Whistel Car Wash to anyone looking for quality and care. And if you’re lucky enough to have Jon helping you out, trust me — you're in great hands,...
Read moreThis is hands down the best car wash I’ve ever been to. I just returned from an out of town trip and my front bumper was filled with love bugs. The drive through removed 99% of the bug guts without me having to manually wipe them down. For the remaining 1%, I used one of the free rags Whistle Express provides for customer use. That rag has magic in it because very little muscle was required to completely remove the rest. Plus they provide free cleaning and glass solution to detail the inside of your car. The manager Russ was there to greet customers which was a nice touch. I’m definitely going to be a...
