Jordan Park Community Center — Attraction in Atlantic Beach

Love it! The park is named after Mrs. Jordan who served and was loved by the community. I used to go to her preschool. We go to the park during the week after the kids get out of school. My son has the greatest time. Theres a community center at the park that caters to the area kids after school until their parents pick them up. They have volunteers that help with homework and do activities. We mainly go for some good, old school, play time for my son. Nothing is usually organized outside which is great for the kids after a day of structure in school. They just run and play freely. They play football, basketball, run around on the playground sometimes playing with sticks and doing normal kids stuff not centered around a screen! Reminds me of how we used to play as kids. There are 2 basketball courts, 1 for the little kids and a standard court in the back. The playground equipment is updated and nice. Theres a nice paved path that was recently put in for riding a bike or walking. Picnic tables and a grill are there....
