Eggboy — Restaurant in Atlantic Beach

Been loving coming here over the last few weekends and usually great but the last time was disappointing. I usually get the full monty, its delicious, well-crafted, and very filling. Decided to switch it up and was left with something saddening. Ordered the grilled cheese & tomato soup. They did not notify us they were out of the soup, which is not the problem itself but if i had known i would have switched. Instead I got the picture attached, which was incredibly disappointing. The bread was not grilled, asked for no tomato & they were on it, and the cheese was not actually melted. Told the cashier and received no customer service at all, ended up reordering (& paying) for the full monty and waited as the rest of my party ate. Between that and the constantly dirty table i’m not sure we’ll be returning. I hate dogging on small businesses but they need to up their game when it comes to...

This is the best breakfast sandwich shop anywhere close to the beach. There's no argument. They have a sandwich called the "BEC" or your "classic bacon egg and cheese" that has a secret ketchup sauce on it that is incredibly good.

The coffee is awesome, but I think their OJ is even better.

They have a high tech juicer machine that makes some of the most pure OJ around.......its pretty wild.

I'd go back, and have been back probably 6 times already and it gets better every-time.

I recently had the opportunity to try the CHOPPED CHEESE, and let me tell you something about that, it’s awesome.

Fresh ingredients, and if you are looking for a lunch sandwich, EGGBOYS got those too!

Eggboy is an absolute MUST TRY. This place nails it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Eggboy specializes in massive egg sandwiches that end up slipping out the sides and dripping down the sides of your face. Each sandwich is made with (what feels like) half a dozen eggs and is more than enough for the average person. I am on a personal quest to try every sandwich on the menu but I find it hard to pull myself away from ordering my regular, The Arlington (in the picture.) To top it off they serve the best coffee in Jacksonville, Flamingo coffee 🦩. I would give this place 6 stars except they don't have a location in Riverside/Murray Hill.....YET.
