10-2020 - Update The family and I came for dinner. We are so happy they have dinning room hours again! We love the owner and her family! Her Pho is always fabulous! If you need good Pho, this is the place!
We ate Pho for dinner tonight because it was getting late I didn't want to cook. I Love Pho Viet because they are the nicest people ever! There was actually a 20 minute wait this evening, but it was well worth the wait! It was our own fault for waiting until 7:10 to go on a Sunday night. They close at 8 on Sundays and we were lucky to get in at the very last minute! As usual the food was Awesome! My 13 year old daughter who is extremely picky even loves their food. She is a big soup fan and Pho is one of her favorite meals! Thankfully they are only 6 blocks away! I highly recommend trying this restaurant! 2-3-18 : We had lunch here today. We both had special pho. I had the M1 seafood with quail egg and rice noodles and dear hubby had the P1 beef with rice noodles. They were both fabulous! We also had an appetizer and drinks and the entire bill with tip included was $32. I love this place! 6-14-18 Addition: Today was the hubby's birthday. After a huge lunch we ate at Pho Viet for dinner. I am in Love with the food! I had C1 and because I am on a special diet they accomodated me by changing the rice for some salad instead. Hubby had P1 pho and daughter #2 had Shrimp Fried Rice. As usual it was all so Good! The food is always fresh and...
Read morePho Broth is difficult to get right. It's rare to get the beef flavor and color just right. This place delivers. It is rich in flavor and has unmistakable color.I go there often, and always order P1 which is a full combination Pho. Try it. Order large, since the small one has the same amount of noodles and meat, yet less broth. Large is the way to go - only a $1 or two more. Their sandwiches are delicious too. Also, their chicken fired rice is superb. So, what I am trying to say, everything is deliciously prepared. Treat yourself. On a side note, they can get busy, but the staff tries to accommodate everyone as best they can. Have patience, and I guarantee, you won't be disappointed. Owner cooks in the back and knows how to make great food. Note 1: This place is not just reasonable, but really cheap for what you get, so I don't understand why some reviewers say its expensive. Most fast food places have a dollar menu if you want to go that route. So realistically, eight bucks for a large meal is not bad at all. Note 2: Bathrooms are really clean and the place...
Read moreThis was actually my second visit to this restaurant, and both times the staff have been warm and friendly. I really enjoy the intimacy of the place. There are only about nine seating areas, a cozy mix of tables and booths.
On both visits, I ordered the Pho Noodle Soup with rare steak and fatty brisket. I love that they serve the bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeños on the side so you can customize it to your taste. It’s always delicious.
I also tried the grilled chicken spring rolls, which were delicious. They come with a tangy-sweet dipping sauce that adds another layer of flavor. This time around, I added the fried shrimp rolls too, and those were just as tasty.
Another thing I appreciate is that every table has condiments like chili crunch oil, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and soy sauce which perfect for adjusting flavors. I always ask for extra onion, and they happily provide it.
Overall, the food here is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the experience is always enjoyable. I’ll definitely keep...
