Zap Cat Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Atlantic Beach

Zap Cat has become such a special place at the beach. It has become such an easy place the frequent. The coffee is absolutely amazing, and the service is top notch on top of it! They have poured so much love and good energy into the space and it is palpable. Everybody makes each trip special and always remember specifications with warm and loving greetings on top of it.

They offer a unique variety of rotating espressos that are hard to match elsewhere in the city. They are super knowledgeable and specific about the coffee they have available and always sharing that knowledge with those who ask. The homemade seasonal drinks they put together are always super thoughtful and delicious as well!

The breakfast offerings are perfect for either a light snack or a quick easy breakfast. The burrito is huge and a great proportion of egg bacon and pico, and I particularly love the sausage jalapeño kolache. I can only say positive things about this spot....

Zap Cat Espresso Bar has easily broken into my top three favorite coffee shops in Jacksonville. This place is so cool! I may not get the order exactly right, but apparently it was a movie theatre turned church that is now a coffee shop 😍 They decided to keep the peace & prayer room which might be my favorite part about this location.

Not only is this location really cool, but the product is phenomenal in my opinion with really interesting options to choose from. One time, they had a Fruity Pebbles latte which was a really pleasant surprise! Plus, the owner is so nice. Extremely welcoming and accommodating. Update after 2nd visit: Went back for the breakfast burrito and 2X Wow! It’s delicious, humongous and don’t skip the tasty jalapeño-aioli sauce!!

Wow! Best cuppa ☕️ (cappuccino & latte) of we’ve had during our interstate trip through the SE coast. The barista took great pride in each cuppa, the venue is super cool in an old theater and the vibe was super laid back. Plenty of parking for our RV in the lot out front.
