I needed to rent another table for the holidays. My wife had called to inquire about an online rental order. She spoke to an associate named Derek. He said he did not see the order on their system and would call her back within a half hour. He never called so I personally went down there two days later. When i arrived, many staff members were just sitting around and I asked for assistance. Derek was sitting and eating and came over and said, "oh yeah, I remember your wife called." I then said great can i pay for our order she had placed. He then said he didnt have the table available. He offered two pub style tables. I declined. He then called a few other stores and they didnt have any either. Once that failed after alot of discussion about why did it show available. He then said we have one, but it is missing a chair. I said."thats fine" I couldn't believe we had gone through all of the wasted time. I then set up delivery. When the table arrived it was very damaged and one leg was broken. We made due obviously covering it with a table cloth.
My wife called to schedule pick up of the table and decided to speak to manager regarding our experience and the same associate Derek came to the phone and continued to deny the whole situation claiming that I myself her husband was told about the damage of table and the manager Derek proceeded to get upset and told her maybe she should talk with her husband cause he lied and that he came in the store and said "I Don't care what you give me I just need something to satisfy my wife" then told my wife " maybe you should check your husband " and that we need to communicate better, which then caused my wife to get angry and was so insulted. Derek is by far the most unprofessional manager or associate that we ever had to deal with. I would never recommend this place or location. Staff does not returns your call, Staffing is disrespectful, Products are horrible and cheaply made and the 2 hour window timing of delivery was and hour and half past the time promised. The "kids" that work there have no customer service skills. Seems to be more of a social hang out for staff than a professional work place. I will never use...

You tell them something is broken and they say they will get it fixed and then you wait months for their service person to come fix all while they continue to harass you for your final payment. My loveseat and couch both broke at the end of my contract. I went ahead and made my last payment under the promise from Jason that my issues would be fixed. Well, now I’m being told that BC he didn’t include the loveseat in my complaint that it is not getting fixed and I am responsible. Yeah, it’s great that you can get what you need rather quickly, but you pay almost twice what the items are worth by the time it’s said and done and the bottom of the barrel employees there are just miserable people and barely a step above a debt collector. Attleboro store closed where customer service was a 5 starr. Got transferred to south attleboro and very poor service. Ive always paid and if a week late would show up next. These guys act like 1 wk is gonna break them. Always calling and out comes the attitude. Miss attleboro location and the employees there. Sorry rent a center but youve lost a gd customer.
