I had a very frustrating experience at Dickās Sporting Goods in Auburn Hills. The only positive part was the sales floor rep, Brett, he was extremely helpful and genuinely tried his best to assist us. We were dealing with a price discrepancy between what was in-store and what was listed online when trying to order the correct size. Brett went above and beyond, repeatedly going to the manager Steve for help.
Unfortunately, the managerās behavior was unacceptable. It took him over 15 minutes just to come to the department after Brett asked for assistance. Once he finally arrived, we were left standing there for more than 30 minutes while he attempted to reset his password. During this time, Brett looked nervous about going back to check on the managerās progress, which speaks volumes about the work environment. The other sales associate on the floor also reiterated that Steve has been difficult to work with in getting help.
The lack of urgency or customer care from management completely overshadowed what should have been a simple transaction. Brett deserves recognition for trying so hard, but management seriously needs to step up their professionalism and respect for...

An employee near cleats was very helpful and immediately went back to find the glove. Minutes later, he emerged successful! He walked us up front, and the glove rang up at regular price. A manager comes to help out and is sort of skeptical, despite the description, color, size, etc. all matching. I mention it says 3 in stock, and the employee confirms there are 2 more in the back. The manager matches the Dicks website at this point. It's better than our first trip, but room for improvement.
Wouldn't price match the Marucci store on Amazon or a baseball gear website that another store has matched countless times.
