I took a lot of clothes, some only worn once and two bags of barely worn shoes. One pair was an exact match to a pair they had for sale just a different size, and they were given back to me (Iâve never wore them- they didnât match the outfit they were bought for and I didnât take them back to the store). I had a brand new Lily Pulitzer dress, with tags still on it, no stains, only wore to try it on and it was given back to me. Before I went I read they donât accept torn items or stained items so I made sure the items I took fit that category. I picked up a pretty ivory sweater that I wanted to buy but put it back due to a stain on the front of it. I also picked up a Nike skort. When I turned it to look at the back, the side of the fabric was ripped. Itâs very frustrating to take good quality clothes, some still with original tags, and 95% of it be given back. I understand everyone has their own opinion of whatâs âin styleâ but there is no way most of what I brought is considered out dated. Especially when a lot of it was bought with the past year. Maybe they stopped looking through my stuff when I walked over to home goods because I had done made two passes through the store and was tired of looking through clothes. Either way, Iâve only been in this store 3 times in my life, two have been in the last two weeks, and I can confidently say I wonât be back. I know losing my business will not have any effect on the success of this location, but hopefully my review can help...
Read moreMy overall experience at this store was horrible! The worker Katie is extremely rude, snobby and highly disrespectful. I asked Katie to confirm what her coworker stated and she immediately got disrespectful and defensive. When I asked her to lower her tone when she was talking to me, she told me to get my things and get out of âherâ store. I told Katie that I felt as though she owed me an apology for the way she was treating me. Katie was adamant about me getting my things and leaving âherâ store. She even created a false narrative that I cursed at her and I never did. She caused a scene and made it seem like I was the aggressor in the situation and I was not. I felt HIGHLY embarrassed, belittled and disrespected. The store definitely does come off as if people of color arenât welcomed. If I could rate 0 starz, I definitely would.
To your response since you blocked me from responding⊠Her name is mentioned because she had on a badge which makes her name public rather in the store or out of the store. If names are to be kept unknown, badges shouldnât be worn. The type of attitude that you guys give in response to reviews is unprofessional, SPEAKS VOLUMES on your store. The type of attitude on the reviews is the type of attitude you get in the store. BBB definitely needs to...
Read moreThey have a book that tells what they're looking for with pictures and I had a lot of the things in the book that were name brand like missguided, fashionnova, hm, etc. still in season and they took 2 pair of jeans and none of the dresses and skirts I brought that could be good spring transitional wear lol. So nothing that was from the examples in the book lol. And they'll say the never worn items (American eagle jeans and hm skirts, i.e.) have wear on them or stains or aren't trendy. And you'll ask yourself, "not trendy for whoooo?" lol. Selling there is very hit and miss and you have to have the DEMOGRAPHIC of the PEOPLE they are selling to in mind and it is very specific. Your personal style isn't theirs and even though I've been flabbergasted by things they haven't taken, you have to remember that. It isn't urban, streetwear, or high fashion, it's college kids and teenagers in an Alabama town. No offense. All your nice stuff that gets rejected, sell on poshmark or Depop. OR try another location with a different demographic. I've sold a lot in Montgomery! But if you're looking for accessories, shoes, loungewear, or comfy clothes for cheap, as a buyer it's a good place to go. Got my outfit for a nicki minaj...
