If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered my wedding band 2-06 and still haven’t received it because they claim it is out of stock. Which i would be fine with if they would have told me that the first out of 6 times i called for a update. Every time I called to see if it was in they would give me a different story. Either “it’ll be in mid week” or “oh we emailed them and haven’t heard back on a shipping date”. They did however promise that my band would be in before my wedding date but couldn’t give me a date of when it would come in. How do you know it’ll be in on time if you can’t give me a date? They lie to tell you exactly what you want to hear. Not only did they do this to me they also did this to my fiancée when she got her engagement resized. They never texted or called when the ring was ready. We called and the lady told us that her engagement ring has been in for a week. Also my fiancée wanted an insert for her band. Well she got one that wasn’t the right size at all after they sized her finger and promised it would be the right size. Their response to that was “the 3 people that helped you before are new and don’t know what they are doing”. That statement right there says it all. My fiancé and I walked in swearing we would never do custom again, but Ken was sure he could make it all right. He promised he would take care of us. I am forever grateful he made that promise, because the ring I got (partial custom), and the experience I had made up for all I had lost with the prior jewelers and then some. Ken delivered on every promise, from keeping us in budget, to ensuring deadlines were met, such as the stone selection shipping OVERNIGHT (mind you we hadn't paid a cent at this point and remained hesitant), and getting us the ring within 1 week while originally estimating 2 week completion. We were updated every step of the way and thoroughly educated on the process, all while he allowed us to worry but continued to reassure we were in good hands after all the promises broken in the past. His confidence in his work gave us hope, and because of his absolute excellence, consideration, and his genuine desire to help us, I couldn't recommend Days Jewelers Augusta enough. Read moreI noticed that most of the reviews are people purchasing, so of course they are being nice. It was a different experience for me. I went in with jewelry that needed to be cleaned. The gentleman seemed almost annoyed with me. So he took my jewelry and left for no more then 5 minutes. I mean I wasn't in the store no more then 15 minutes. Now when we lived near the South Portland branch I went in and the lady took my jewelry and noticed I had on jewelry (not bought from Days) and she said dont you want the jewelry you have on cleaned? I said oh yay! Yes please, ty! Now I wasn't the only one leaving jewelry. She said give us about 20 minutes. My god my jewelry looked BEAUTIFUL like brand new. I mean you don't mind waiting, as there's free beverages coffee, soda, juice. Anyway, that has been my experience. Id like to bring my jewelry in again to be cleaned as it's been awhile but I have a bad hip right now so getting in and out of my car is so painful. I wouldn't deserve to be treated like I'm...
