El Zarandiao — Restaurant in Aurora

Last night I attended my bfs company party and El Zarandiao catered the event and it was the talk of the night. We both LOVED the mahi mahi tacos, asada tacos and flan. They were sooo good I shamelessly took some home. I can’t wait to visit the site and try their ceviche. Additionally, they are so efficient and hospitable. Food came out quickly without compromising quality. After the huge rush I got the pleasure of speaking to the Staff and it was a highlight for sure. We had the mango ceviche and 1 shrimp taco. I absolutely loved the shrimp taco with the cheese and sauce ! The shrimp was perfect and had an amazing balance of seasoning. The sauce on the tacos really brought everything together really Good. How ever the shrimp ceviche with mango lacked flavor. The mango bits were fresh, i just wasn’t to crazy about the shrimp. It kind of tasted like precooked shrimp that was thawed out and added instantly to the mix. It definitely needs more lime and seasoning. Service was great! It's hard to find a Mexican food truck for a pescetarian like me so this was probably one of my few options on the Colfax/Chambers block of food trucks that I can eat.
