Dulceria Piñata Festival — Local services in Aurora

I'm not one to complain, but this experience was terrible.. I called to place an order for a piñata on 10/03/2024, hoping it would arrive on 10/12/2024.According to the person I spoke to, it was feasible to have my piñata there by 10/12/2024 due to the arrival of their Piñata truck arriving on 10/11/2024. They asked me to text them what my vision was for the piñata. So I sent them a text message using the number we shared during our last transaction. I explained how I wanted my piñata, sent a picture and emphasized once more that I need it by 10/12/2024. Once more, the person who I texted confirmed that it was possible to have it there by 10/12/2024. I inquired with the person if I had to make a deposit for the piñata like I had done previously. They stated that it wasn't necessary because I had already purchased with them before. I texted them today, 10/12/2024, to ensure that the piñata was already here so that I could pick it up. They responded to my text with 'what piñata?' Guys, when I tell you my heart dropped, it dropped. I replied quickly by describing my piñata and even sent them the same picture of what I had in mind like I did on 10/03/2024. They left me on seen they didn’t respond back. I calmed my self thinking that they might be searching for it and will respond soon. I reached out to them two hours later after receiving no response, and a lady answered I asked her about my piñata. The information was being relayed back to a man in the background by her. She responded back to me and said that someone had already come to pick it up. I informed her that I did not go to pick it up . The man then takes the phone from the lady and apologizes to me. stating the truck that has the piñatas is leaving tomorrow and they are not sure when it will arrive. What Irks me is that they didn’t have the customer service to text me or call me letting me know that the Piñata was late or that they had already sold it So that I could come up with Plan B. My God baby might not have Piñata for her...

Dulceria Piñata Festival over in Aurora has taken great care of me as a customer with great service as well as great piñatas. So much so that I have returned to them every year for my annual piñata event for the last 3 years! The family that runs this store are very kind and lovely people. They have always been polite and genuine in helping the customer find what they need or want.

The store makes top quality anime/Disney/Comic Book/General Nerd piñatas which have my absolute stamp of approval! They also always restock new piñatas every weekend, so there will always be new variations weekly.

They can even do custom commissions, nerd related decorations and more if given prior notice. They’ve told about one of their past commissioned piñatas being a life sized 6'3" Darth Vader.

In addition to piñatas, they also sell other nerd related party decorations such as helium balloons, table covers, and etc. I myself had bought a life size R2D2 balloon, as well as a giant Darth Vader helium balloon too lol. On top of all of this, they sell the candy that needs to fill the pinatas themselves and more.

So if, for whatever reason, you need cool pinatas, Star Wars decorations or other franchises, then please go there, as they are great!

Do not buy piñatas here ! I paid $56 for a piñata that had no hole to put the candy in (which is fine I can make the hole) but on top of that the piñata literally had no room for the candy I had to take it back and the lady who was there took out a bunch of newspaper to make room for the candy but damaged the piñata one of the ends bent and the two ends have to strings now !
