Del Mar Pool — Attraction in Aurora

While most tards commenting on here are saying it’s bad business, they’re not open when they say, people throw trash won’t see this something to know is that it’s a city pool. They have been under staffed and forced to cycle which pools and rec centers are open in a round robin order. Hence the weird hours. These are city pools therefore people from everywhere can go. Unfortunately a lot of people suck and have no respect and litter. This is not a direct reflection of the pool and staff. Staff being rude well that’s different. I’ve only encountered 1 rude staff member at the gate the rest have been as accommodating as possible as they are often left in the dark. They do close for a while everyday to clean up to combat the littering. Also people please remember you have teenagers at their first jobs sometimes dealing with some people basically like you cut them some slack. We go here frequently for the fun slides as the community pool where we live is bland and doesn’t even have a diving board. So if you want small clean and boring move somewhere with an HOA and a pool or suck it...

I went this past Saturday. I was put on a wait list to go in, waited a little over an hour and after we were in my kids got to go on the slide, soon after they announced we had to exit due to weather. I went up to front desk and told them I had just went in, I wanted that money back or counted for next day because I felt it was unfair. I was told there are no refunds and I had to wait outside. We went outside of the property to have lunch while we waited. People who go there are rude, they eat and leave their trash everywhere! This is the ghetto guys! I do not recommend going here. It was my first and last time there! 20 minutes worth of fun is not worth it. My four year old was disappointed we had to leave and I wasn’t coming back the next day to go...

Absolutely loved this place. Wanting to go back very soon. Had they actually payed attention & not allowed our kids to ride all the slides in the kid section then I would be saying something different... my only gripe is that they do have height requirements that would actually not allow small children anything to do here. They are actually only allowed 1 small slide in the middle of the whole playground which would be ridiculous trying to tell your small child that is all they can do there.
