Saturday Sept 13. We arrived at 8:10 for 9pm show. When we got here there was only one other person seated. We purposely arrived early because we’d never been to this venue and didn’t know what the seating would be like. We were counting on the usher to help us to the correct seats. The person that seated us lead us through an empty theater to the first two rows. She told us to sit anywhere in those rows, pointing specifically at row 2. We did. We sat in the row she pointed to. To the “anywhere in this row.”
After 9pm a guy came directly to US in a full house and asked to see our tickets. They clearly knew she messed up and sat us in the wrong spot since the didn’t ask anyone else in the nearly full house to see their tickets. He rudely told us we had to move but didn’t tell us where. We tried to ask but he just left the three of us standing there confused.
I tried to find out from the woman that originally seated us and she had the nerve to get mad at ME because we were trying to find out where to sit. She was actually VERY hostile about it. REALLY HOSTILE. So hostile that it shows she didn’t do her job correctly in the first place and was trying to place that on me.
She just told us anywhere, hostilely saying “there are two seats there. There are two seats there.. you can sit anywhere” and so on. Mind you this wasn’t in any polite or accommodating fashion. She acted like we were trying to pull a scam. There were three of us so this didn’t make sense. We already WERE “anywhere” where she first sat us, and I was trying to find out specifically where so we wouldn’t be displaced again. There are no row numbers and it’s not my job to count rows to know where to sit.
Her yelling at me and not helping when she messed up in the first place did not help. Next time, do YOUR job correctly and don’t take it out on your customers.
I wasn’t being rude. I was confused and irritated. Had they told us in the very beginning we could have easily moved to the row directly behind which I’m assuming was what “seats 3-8” means. Instead they had to treat us like WE did this on purpose. FIRST time at the venue. LAST time at the venue, not that yall care at all.
We ended up NOT sitting in what I assume was supposed to be rows 3-8. We were in row 10 which I’m assuming were cheaper than our seats. So we didn’t even get our money’s worth because she was a jerk from the beginning. Someone needs to retrain her on customer service.
Jerks. You ruined my birthday present. I cried most of the evening because of this. I hate this venue now and will never return. Not that yall care. If you did, someone would have apologized to us last night. I’m utterly disgusted and profoundly embarrassed to have been involved in such a negative situation that I in NO WAY caused.
To the rude lady — you should be ashamed of yourself. Next time be a grown up and own up to your mistake instead of ruining an experience for someone.
So so disgusted...

A note for those who use wheelchairs or other mobility assistance, or who would be inclined to request ADA accommodation via email as their website states - I sent an email when I bought tickets to request accommodation and never received a response. I called the box office a couple of weeks before the show and was told that the email needed to include the ticket purchase order confirmation number (this is not specified on the website). I was told to give them about 24 hours and someone would reply. I sent an updated email but never received a reply. On the night of the show, there was enough room for the person I requested accommodation for to move freely, and the accommodation ended up not being necessary. This is just to point out that if the show is a seated show, or at high capacity of attendees, or you will need accommodation no matter what, you will need to be in frequent contact with staff, likely including when you arrive to the venue, to ensure your...
Read moreI really like the 3Ten club, a great space to see some wonderful acts in a more intimate setting. Well run and clean. I certainly would recommend going to check out some of the fine bands they have here. I also like the effect that it's associated with the ACL and all that they represent for Austin music .
Another thing that's really nice about it is it almost has an open air feel sometimes, I know that sounds funny but it does. The staff that worked there are generally very friendly and courteous and it seems to draw a crowd that is safe and fun to be around.
Check it out, you won't be disappointed for seeing a great band in a smaller venue then the ACL live...
