I used to be a loyal Framebridge customer, but unfortunately, my recent experience—especially at their Austin location on 38th Street—has completely changed my perspective. When I visited the store, I stood there for several minutes without being acknowledged, only to watch someone who walked in after me be greeted and helped immediately. I felt invisible. Hurt and frustrated, I left the store and sat in my car—trying to shake off the feeling of being dismissed. That’s when a manager came outside and approached my car, saying they wanted to “make things right.” I appreciated the gesture in the moment, but I had no idea it would turn into a five-month saga of empty promises and emotional whiplash. My piece was sent back four separate times—each time flawed. Scratched glass, mismatched frame colors, and a general lack of care. Not once did it meet their so-called “100% satisfaction guarantee.” It didn’t feel like a mistake—it felt like a pattern. A game. And honestly, I believe they knew what they were doing. I was naive. I truly believed they meant it when they said they wanted to fix things. I kept thinking, surely this time, they’ll do the right thing. But they never did. They strung me along with overly polite apologies and no real accountability. The whole process began to feel manipulative, and, at times, just plain mean. And here’s the worst part: once things go sideways, they’ll make you feel like you’re the problem. The stress, the time, the emotional energy—it’s exhausting. What should’ve been a simple, joyful project turned into a drawn-out mess that made me question everything. Don’t be fooled by the branding or the promises. And whatever you do—don’t get on their bad side. Because once that happens, they’ll make your experience feel like a slow, calculated punishment. I cannot recommend this...
Read moreThis location of Framebridge is SO excellent!! My boyfriend & I visited for the first time this weekend to pick-up some framed items that I had previously ordered through Framebridge’s Columbus Avenue UWS location in New York City (that we had directed be shipped to this ATX Framebridge location). While present at this store, we worked with Elizabeth to get some additional items worked-up for framing. She was so, so kind + helpful!!! She made our experience so easy and seamless. :-) We will 100% be back in the future, as this is a great Framebridge storefront!
NOTE: As an extra bonus, they have fantastic parking availability!!
UPDATE (10/18/2025): I have visited this location multiple times now, and I have to say that the service is always as exceptional as it was during my first visit! Makeda & Justin took amazing care of me + the item I was requesting framing for when I returned to Framebridge this weekend! :-) I'm really looking forward to continue working with the incredible team at this location. Thank you,...
Read moreI have never had a worse experience with getting artwork framed. From the beginning, the staff was gaslighting me for finding issues with multiple pieces of art work.
Every. Single. Frame. had an issue... an antique art piece gifted by my late grandmother was ripped. Please go to Michael's or Fast Frame or Hobby Lobby. I am so disappointed in the service and I STILL find issues with artwork the longer I look at it hanging on my wall.
It was truly a headache to work with framers who weren't even at the store. The concept of shipping artwork to another state for a completely different team to frame is so inefficient and makes zero sense. If you love your artwork, I strong encourage you try another store, even if it costs more money. It will be worth your time, money, and artwork to consider another store.
I so badly hoped Framebridge would be my new framer. I hope they change.... but they weren't able to improve during the few months I went back and forth with them trying to fix all of...
