This trail has some EPIC, very old live oaks to climb and oggle, and a variety of other awesome trees like cedar elms, hickories, sumac, and red oak (which were still changing colors in late December!). It's right off the road so it's really convenient but a bit noisy. Lots of seating. I look forward to many more strolls throughout the seasons!

Great place another stop along the Shola creek trail. It's great for jogging bike riding and dog walking or anything in between. Nice areas for dogs and turtle watching

I love spending time on the creek. It's the perfect spot for photography & convening with nature.

This trail connects 31st Street to 38th Street. This is a go-to walk spot for my dog and I adore that it's available in the neighborhood. When Shoal Creek is flowing after a rainfall, it really is gorgeous to see. There are great spots throughout the trail, including a covered picnic table area, stone benches (which I believe I witnessed are utilized on weekdays for the school across the street), open field, overpass overlook, and a lot of shaded trail areas. Parking is available on Shoal Creek Blvd. outside of St. Andrew's, however be aware of afternoons during the...

Nice walk. Interesting though, on the website it says how White Gideon "valiantly" fought the Native Indians, and "killed at least one of them before himself was massacred". Isn't this person supposed to be the intruder to the home land of Indians? Funny to see he's...
