I visited the Google Store at The Domain last week to buy the Pixel Buds Pro 2, and it was a great experience overall. The store looks amazing—modern, bright, and very welcoming. The product displays are well organized and visually appealing, making it easy to explore everything. What really stood out was how interactive the experience was. Being able to hold and try on the watches, test out the phones, and experience the products firsthand made the visit even better. The staff were friendly and available to help without being pushy. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone interested in Google products. The layout, ambiance, and hands-on experience make it one of the best tech retail experiences in Austin.

Got a deal from Google on the Pixel Buds Pro 2 wanted to check out the Google Store so I ordered them online to pick up in store and wasn't disappointed with the service we received albeit a in store pickup still was greeted immediately with a warm and friendly welcome I didn't get her name but her and my gf talked about Twilight while I was just browsing around while my order was getting ready, I will definitely be back to get more products in the future!

Popped by the new Google Store at Domain Northside; it looks fantastic. The space is bright, clean, and thoughtfully laid out, showcasing signature Google aesthetics: light wood finishes, intuitive displays, and an inviting “Here to help” desk. It feels more like a future-friendly showroom than a typical retail shop.

I know they're a new store, but the quality of the technical service was really disappointing and I've ended up with a broken phone after a routine service. First, their actual time for a fix was twice what they said it would be (wasted my time waiting on it). The excuse for the delay was that the battery they originally replaced it with was faulty, so they had to replace it twice. When I got the phone back, it was at a 20% charge, which is annoying, and the phone was getting hot just with normal use. The guy at the store said the new battery had to get used to the phone's way of working? Is that how that works (I genuinely don't know but it doesn't sound right)? I also drove 45 mins home only to discover the screen sensor wasn't working (typing was broken) and some marks around the frame that weren't there originally. So I drove another 45 minutes back to the store (my fifth 45 min drive - drop it off, drive home, pick it up, drive home, now back again) to report the issue with my keyboard. And again, they were super nice and fixed the issue free of charge because it was their error. But now my phone screen doesn't turn off when I hold the phone to my face during a call, so I'm pressing all kinds of buttons with my face... And there's just no way I'm going back to get it fixed, at this point.

Went in for a basic fix and ended up with a broken phone and a ton of wasted time going back and forth for issues that were caused by their own technicians. I suppose I wouldn't recommend getting a pixel if the only two options for repairs are to mail it in (7-10 biz day turnaround) or take it in to inexperienced technicians who break things as they try...

I just learned this store existed (as of 30 days ago, it's the 7th Google store that has opened in the country)! I was so thankful to have a physical store to walk into to try and solve my week-long problem I'm having with the Google online store and my Google Payments. Though my problem was not solved by visiting, John and Lautaro helped me make a lot of progress. They tried to fix my Pixel 6 Pro "fried" phone screen (from a battery overheating). They tried replacing the screen so I could get verification codes. They reached out to Google support with me (which I've been doing for the last 4 days), and also Synchrony financing with me (who approved my financing for the new phone) and then gave me tips to help solve my open support ticket. All I want is to buy a new phone (!) but now that I have new financing approval for the Pixel 9 Pro XL (that dinged my credit and I'm offered 0 percent financing), I want to use it. They spent 3 hours with me and were just as baffled by the problems with my Google payment account, that seems to be looping in never-ending support tickets with the same advice and steps to solve the problem as 4 days ago. We'll see what happens, but in the meantime, they gave me a loaner phone so that I could keep working. My business cannot function without a cell phone. Both guys were extremely patient, sympathetic, knowledgeable and supportive! I made an appointment online for during the week. I was helped immediately upon walking in at my appointment time and they made me feel like my issue and need for a cell phone...

I stopped by to inquire about two things: a wireless charging port for my phone, and hands on demonstration of a Google Pixel 3 watch.

There was plenty of staff there, and all of them were very friendly. The one gentleman who assisted me was knowledgeable and patient.

Unfortunately, while Google Pixel phones can do contact charging, they don't make their own contact chargers for the phone. You have to purchase it through a third party, and there were none in the store at the time I stopped by. I won't hold this against the store. The gentleman who explained this to me and showed me a few of the options for the contact chargers was very patient. It's something Google corporate needs to address.

The gentleman was also very patient when showing me the Google Pixel 3 watch. I initially had a little bit of trouble understanding how to switch out the various watchband options. He explained it several times without complaint until I understood. It's actually easy and ingenious once you get it down.

The store itself was very clean and well organized. It was also very quiet since I was the only customer at the time, but I have a tendency to go to these kinds of places very early when it's less likely others will be there.

I will be back to...
