5.0 star rating 12/27/15 1 check-in I arrived on a Monday afternoon at about 1:30pm. The parking lot to the shopping mall was extremely crowded since Christmas was only 4 days away. Nonetheless, I trudged on and eventually found a parking spot. The interior was nice, and there was a display of potatoes and free peanuts in front of the counter. There were also many articles on the walls of awards Five Guys had won in different states all around the US.
There was no one in the line at the time. I examined the menu and discovered that the menu wasn't too big, but there were free toppings. Free toppings? You can't beat that. Most burger places charge extra for free toppings. I ordered a bacon burger and added regular fries and a drink. The toppings I selected were mushrooms, grilled onions, and cheese. I like the swiss style burgers with bacon. Came out to about $15 something.
My burger was ready as soon as I finished pouring my fountain drink. It was really fast. My order came in a bag. The ketchup containers were really large so 2 was enough. The fries arrived in a cup, but it overflowed because I was given more than that. Big portions are always a plus. The fries were good and solid. I ate all of them before getting to my burger. The burger had two beef patties and flimsy bread, but amazingly it held up. It was freshly cooked with no preservatives so it was a plus. Pure unadulterated beef. The other ingredients came together perfectly to make it taste real good. I'm not a burger connoisseur, but Five Guys has some really good burgers. I also noticed that you can take peanuts for free at the display. I would definitely come here again and Five Guys is...
Read moreWHERE TO START!!! The food is over priced.for what you get. You can get a better tasting hamburger from Carl's Junior or even Wendy's. So they also had two coke machines, one was out of syrup but had ice the other one had no ice but syrup. The one soda machine that worked had no carbonation and when brought to the attention to he employees tries to figure it out and asked the manager but he just stood behind the counter and did nothing. It was my daughter's Birthday and she wanted to eat here. If it wasn't for the tow nice ladies/ staff members they would of got 1 start. My money would of been better spent where the management gives a dang. At 2.39 for a drink x7 that is a lot of money to not have something to drink, and a bottle of water was the same cost. That's ridiculous. Will not even go to another 5 guys after this experience. The corporate office should look into this. DONT BLAME THE THE SYRUP ON SUPPLY SHIRTAGES, JUST...
Read moreOriginally placed an order for delivery online. Five Guys accepted, waited half an hour, then cancelled with no explanation whatsoever. So then I went into the store to place the order. First, they got my order wrong, then argued with me that they got it wrong. They finally "corrected" it, but the corrected order was STILL wrong. Furthermore, the burgers were ICE cold, and the beef patties were RAW. I ultimately had to take home everything and fully re-cook the burgers and fries at home in my own oven to prevent food poisoning. I don't know what happened to this location. I never had a problem here in 7 years before, but it is no longer safe to eat at. Shut this place down, fire everyone, rehire new staff, train from the ground up, before someone gets E. coli and dies.
*Update: just to update, they just charged me for the initial delivery order THEY CANCELLED....
