Where do I begin? Aside from the front desk lady, who was very nice and pleasant, this place is a horror show! Not even an hour into our stay and the maid came by trying to bust into the room, but the door latch prevented her from fully opening the door, but that didn’t stop her! She repeatedly kept trying to slam the door open before we could even answer, it scared us more than anything, when greeting her she said that we were suppose to be checked out, even though we only checked in an hour prior. It gets worse from here though, at night is when the place really comes alive! Around 8:30 more cars started to pull into the parking, followed by one resident doing burnouts in the parking lot, and having their car volume so loud, to the point that it was shaking the entire exterior wall (this went on for at least 30 minutes). I couldn’t tell you what the person above us was doing either, but the entire night all you could hear was the impact of their heavy footsteps pacing back and forth, alongside the noise of the doors constantly being slammed opened and shut, and what sounded like furniture being slid across the floor! Me and the person I was with took turns sleeping, because the constant screaming, yelling, and pounding had us on edge. Later that night, around 3 in the morning, someone began to bang on our door! Upon inspecting the peep-hold no one appeared to be present so we refused to open the door …from that point we couldn’t go back to sleep, it was scary more than anything alongside overwhelming. Check out wasn’t until 11 that morning, but the minute we saw sunlight we took our chance and hauled it out of there! I’ve never wrote a review in my life before, but I think this awful life experience was well worth the time. It might be affordable, but it’s not worth it, there are other hotels within the area for only $20 extra that come with the peace of mind and security that was nowhere to be found here. Also our room came with no towels or amenities (hand soaps, etc.)? …to get towels for our room they were charging...

I was charged for my stay FOUR TIMES. I repeat, FOUR times! I was charged even before I checked in,charged again but in two different increments that totaled the room amount. I went to talk to the front desk & at first they were trying to justify why I was charged twice but I kept on pushing back since it made no sense whatsoever. Thankfully Robert and Jarae were super helpful and Robert was actually able to reverse the charges. Robert thanked me for pushing back as that made him look into it more & notice that it was the hotel’s mistake. The next day, I was charged TWO more times again! I went to the front desk again & was told to come back at 10:30 since the manager will be there. Went back at said time & was told she was going to be late since she was having car trouble. I called at 1pm & was told she was not there still. I went to the front desk at 5pm & was told the manager left already! Completely made no sense from what they were telling me all day!

I STILL have two charges pending in my bank account right now, all they ended up doing was apologizing for it and giving me a receipt to give to my bank. As opposed to actually taking care of it the problem since it was admitted that it was their mistake. My bank did charge me overdraft fees as well, but of course that was not taken care of.

Not to mention the door handle of the bathroom was broken, the bed was uncomfortable. There are creepy guys just leering all over the property, there are loud bangs & noises all night. I was uncomfortable being in the pool since so many men were just standing outside of their rooms starting. People seem to be living at the motel. People will work on their cars in the parking lot. Every night we were there there was people in the pool hanging out till 5am even though the pool closes at 10pm. Lots of people who are not guests at motel hang out on the property.

The only positive things about the hotel were the location was super convenient to everywhere we needed to go and the AC worked...

I spent nearly four nights here on a Monday through early AM Thursday. The receptionists were really nice people and easy to talk to both day and night staff, the rooms are clean and comfy no pests at all- I didn't even see an ant. They have an elevator so if you have issues with walking this is your place. Refrigerator in the room works great and it was super clean as was the microwave. There was also a wall safe which I didn't use. Coffee pot , hair dryer are all there so its everything you would need. I didn't swim in the pool but there were people going all the days I was there so it must be pretty clean. They have a maintenance staff that was ALWAYS doing something such as just tending the plants and parking lot so the whole staff seemed to be super hard workers - like they really did care about the place. The place is remarkably quiet even being near the interstate. The house cleaning service was just wonderful as the bed, towels, and whole room was nice and clean top to bottom and the a/c was quiet and cooled the room really fast with the celling fan or without it. The ladies who clean the rooms always had smiles on their faces and they were really hard workers. The cola vending machines weren't filled but the free Orange Juice in the lobby was freeking delicious. I didn't eat the breakfast but was there when it was being served and my suggestion is get there fast or you will miss out. I didn't use WIFI very often but it worked great for what little time I used it and they also had desktop computers in the lobby. So it's of course not the Marriott but for the price you aren't going to beat it - at all. There is a seafood restaurant within walking distance but I didn't eat there. I have read some of the bad reviews but I just did not have a bad experience at all so I have no idea what those are all about and maybe I am just more easy going but I enjoyed it and...

Well, I just got to a new 3 star hotel, and I forgot what slumlording was. Actually getting to some real hotel business made me realize how bad we actually had it. The door frame didn't have a seal, so if it rained against the door, it would come inside. The bathroom door handle, didn't even connect to the door. Out of 4 lamps in the room, only 1 worked. The heat and the fan worked, the bathroom was peeling in some parts. I can give it one thing, housekeeping does a hell of a job keeping the place smelling clean, and actually being clean. Now if a roach comes underneath the door during the night, well, not much they can do about that. For getting charged 60 a night I believe from a third party, it was okay. I paid 80 for this 3 star hotel in Dallas the next night, and boy oh boy. Just spend the extra cash elsewhere. Customer service was great at the front desk. It's just overall building maintenance and upkeep. It could use a touch up. Also, bedsheets where stained. Mattress was limp and dying. I'm glad I stayed there as little as needed. Breakfast was a granola bar, orange cup, and some crackers. Extremely basic, but you can take 2 or 3 if needed. Healthy and good quality stuff for breakfast but not what we are expecting for "breakfast". If you get room 246, hopefully they updated it after this review. At least no bugs, no anything, it was clean.

If you are interested in role playing dystopian horror this would be an excellent place to do it. This Super 8 is giving Terry Gilliam on salvia. I paid $256 to stay in a room that smelled like a dog kennel, complete with roaches, peeling paint, black mold on the shower tiles, hair wads in the corners, and a bed that sounded like a train going off track whenever you moved. The noise from the highway was thunderous. But I was afraid to use my earplugs in case we had any sort of late night intruders. There were people sleeping behind the hotel, presumably unhoused. The elevator smelled like urine and the lights did a strobe effect during transit which was a bit alarming. The curtains did not close, the handle fell off the door as we were leaving. We left our luggage in the car in case there were bed bugs. The shower curtain rod was braced by a stryofoam plate. I found some ones lipgloss in the bed. This hotel pairs well with Kafka, Blade Runner, Children of Men, and The Dark Backward. The only positive thing I can say is the host at check in, Diana, was friendly and kind, even when the prostitutes that arrived 30 seconds ahead of us were griping her out about the exorbitant cost of a room. There were two sporting events happening, you see, and that is why a room that is normally $63 is temporarily $260. Viva late stage capitalism!

Upon entering,. There was no lamp in room. No ice bucket no cups. One trash can with no replacement bags, and no toiletries The phone in the room didn't work. The pillows were very firm. The shower was a pull out and then turn. It was very difficult to do. If my brother had not been there my mom and I would not have been able to take a shower. no internet. Grab and go breakfast is not perk. This grab and go breakfast consisted of peanut butter crackers, a fruit cup and crunchy granola bar. Walls and shower floor were chipped. There was a festival in town so hotels were limited. Very close to downtown is the only positive. At 1am on the our last night police were in the parking lot trying to get someone to come out of the room that was beside us. We had to o evacuate to go to lobby so they could serve arrest warrant back in room at 1:45. The cost of the room was too high for the way the room was. We should get a refund or part of one because of the police situation. Horrible horrible. It is super 8 by Wyndham on the sign. Wyndham needs to do something. Our room didn't look as nice as the pictures. HORRIBLE!!!! Avoid it like the plague.
