I stopped by the New Origin Shop yesterday at the Hill Country Galleria. Sierra and Sean were the kindest and most sincere shop owners I've ever met. I felt like I was stepping into their home. It was such an inviting and comfortable place to look around and shop. I bought way more than I should have, but I think I'm done with many of my Christmas gifts already! Their store was so perfectly curated and offered diversity in not only the types of things they sold compared to most shops, but it appeared that almost everything was made by Sierra and Sean or by some very talented local craftspeople. Sierra even offered a free gift since it was my first time there. She had hand crocheted the holder for a tiny haworthia plant that she gave to me for free. The store is not tailored to one specific age group of shoppers, as it provides a unique selection for all ages of shoppers. For example, they had a black owned coffee brand, which was displayed on Shark Tank. I thought that it was pretty cool to see an item that you won’t find at your local HEB.
