Garden door supposed to open at 8am following the sign but 10am still closed. Wednesday Feb 26 at 11am The old lady at the garden section has to relax, she’s annoying every time. I walked around with flower sprouts bag which I grabbed from outside the door, looking around for flowers and tried to go grab some plants and flowers by the door while she didn’t pay attention and chitchat with the man, I walking by and eye contact and say I’m still shopping, she left conversation with the guy and just yell that has to stay. I already told you I am still shopping and this bag I grabbed from outside the door. This is not first time but she’s something else that I really uncomfortable when she’s there. I decided to not shop anymore and put that sprout back into the box and left. Last week, she was checking out for one customer and there is self checkout open which whoever can use it. One lady customer scared her items but just started haven’t go through all of them yet, old lady hop out her cashier station while checking out for me and go flip 2 small seeds bag of customer that here you have to scan these too. C’mon can you just relax and finish my checkout. If people gonna cheat on $1 bag of seeds they won’t put that in their cart. She literally everywhere. No respect for customers. Hope I won’t see her at garden section again. Stop chitchat and pay attention to customers please.

I’m a Home Depot Pro account holder. I walked up to an open register that had a checkout screen. Associate Eduardo proceeded to walk up to me tap the screen to close it out and then slid the “not self checkout” sign onto the keyboard and then just pointed at another register. Didn’t say anything else. I asked home why I couldn’t checkout and he just said go over there. I said wow that’s great customer service, and he gives me 2 thumbs up and walks away. I ask him why I can’t just checkout. Then he picks up a phone and acts like he’s helping someone else and says if I want to check out I can wait. Anyways then I walk down to normal checkout and there’s 4 employees just laughing and making jokes with each other. Why can’t they just be helping to check people out? Proces are sky rocketing, yall are spending millions of dollars on self checkout stations and all these employees and this is the customer service we get?

I tend to avoid Home Depots because of poor past experiences, especially in the customer service department. This one, however, had -the best- customer service I've received from a home improvement store to date. There were so many employees in the store that I couldn't go two aisles without being offered assistance in either locating goods or loading them into my flatbed. Even when we got it to the van and started loading things in an employee approached and helped, too the extent that he showed us how to tie materials to the roof of the van when they wouldn't fit in the interior. We never would have made it back to our destination with supplies in hand had it not been for Manuel helping us out. Outstanding job by the employees at this location all around.

Beware of hidden fees for truck rentals. I rented a truck and returned it in the condition outlined. They offered an email receipt. It never came. When I called tool rental to follow up, the representative said I needed to return to the store for a physical receipt. This hd is not close to me and returning to the store is not a reasonable request. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said I would need to be in the store for that too. I escalated my request and got a supervisor. They were able to email me the receipt but there was an additional fee for damage protection that no one spoke to me about and that I didn't approve. I have full insurance coverage and it isn't something I need. I let them know and while they apologized, said I'd need come back to the store to get an in-store credit that could only be used at that location. As I said, it's not a close location. My time, the traffic and gas isn't worth that amount. I called today and asked to speak with the store manager to let them know I'd need to dispute the charge with my credit company if they were unable to fix the issue. Tiffany, while friendly, said she was the person I needed to talk to but that she would need my physical card to adjust the transaction and there was nothing else she could do. I'm moving forward with disputing it with my CC. While the truck rental itself was fine, the experience around it was stressful and unnecessary. I'd recommend a different location. The employees weren't upfront with the fee structure and getting clarification on unapproved charges was a hassle. I had to speak to three different ppl and wasn't able to a resolution that didn't involve me being back in the store. It's not worth the risk of hassle.

8/14 filed out the form they requested, more time, and while they apologized, no resolution without an in-store presence was offered. The idea that as a company they are unable to address a legit issue about fee transparency for a minimal amount without this level of inconvenience...

I recently visited Home Depot to purchase a rug pad and found one that fit my needs. However, I immediately noticed that the price labels were completely inaccurate. I even took photos because multiple rug pads were stacked in the same spot, all clearly labeled at $44.50. When I got to the register to pay, the price that rang up was significantly higher than the signage indicated.

Before I could flag down an associate, an older man approached me and aggressively started pitching me a Home Depot credit card, as if he’d been eyeing my screen the whole time. He interrupted me before I even had a chance to speak.

When I explained the pricing issue to him, he simply said: “It seems pretty obvious to me that this rug pad would cost more, even if our signage were off.” When I asked to speak to a manager, he claimed he was the manager and refused to honor the price. I strongly believe he wasn’t a manager at all.

He then proceeded to stand over my shoulder, repeatedly insisting that my request for them to honor the price on the shelf was unreasonable, almost gaslighting me for even asking. I tried to remain polite and asked him to give me some space, but he refused to step back.

He hovered uncomfortably close to me while I entered my PIN and refused to leave me alone. The entire experience was extremely uncomfortable and left me feeling that Home Depot should have honored the listed price, especially since it was their mistake to have the rug pads labeled and placed...
