Been shopping here since they opened, noticed some changes over the months, most of which is less than stellar.
The deli used to be open for store hours, now they have a sign over the counter that says open at 9am. We shop usually between 6:30 and 7am, before work. Now the people working behind the counter simply ignore you or act like you're bugging them if they do decide to acknowledge your existence. Really annoying.
I usually bag my own groceries, because I enjoy it and I put "like things" in "like bags". Makes unloading at home a little more streamline. So, this next point is more an observation than a complaint. When the store first opened, they had cashiers and baggers usually on one or two lanes that early in the morning. Now it's just the cashier. What is annoying, is when you have Auntie Ethel buying 50 items and not touching a dang bag herself. So the cashier rings her up and then proceeds to start bagging.
Stop replacing all the good selection of items with Meijer branded crap. We like selection, even if some is higher priced. Today, I was looking for tortillas, and swear half the section was now Meijer brand. And the section was no bigger than before, so they simply eliminated some of the choices.
Overall observation, the first month the store was open it was amazing. Now that the honeymoon period is over, the store is really letting you know what you just married. Get your...

After going here multiple times for groceries, I prefer Niles location over this one. Multiple times I’ve shopped here, I’ve bought expired food. Chips, crackers, fruit cups. I shouldn’t have to check the date on what’s already on the shelves. I’m big on using the rewards app and clipping coupons as well. And anytime I go to use my coupons, or if something is blatantly on sale in their ad or app and it doesn’t ring up on sale, the cashiers just give you a hard time about it. Can’t say I’ve had a pleasant experience with any of the cashiers here. They lowkey make my shopping experience difficult.
Came here a few times since opening to do some shopping. I usually go to the Niles location, but figured I’d try this one out. The store is nice, the organization here is a little odd in terms of placement. But everything was...
Read moreMy review is referencing customer service primarily and this is only after shopping twice at a Meijers. I received $25 coupons for transferring a prescription and on two different occasions had done this through the pharmacy drive through and I should say first how fantastic the people working in there are! I had two issues the other day and the first one was that I bought a watermelon that was rotten on the inside and I took a picture of it and went in and without a problem they switched it out for me. The other problem was that my $25 coupon had an expiration date on it and I wasn't aware of that. I don't agree with that either BTW, but I went to customer service and although he had to get approval from a manager, I was told they would honor the coupon this one time. I totally understood and was appreciative they did that for me and I told him I wouldn't make that mistake again. The customer service...
