A Slice of Life at Bruno Bros. Pizza: The Coveted Lunch Special For regulars and newcomers alike, the lunch hour at Bruno Bros. Pizza is synonymous with a quintessential New York-style experience: the daily two-slice and a soda special. This beloved offering has become a cornerstone of the midday rush, a reliable and satisfying tradition for those seeking a quick, delicious, and affordable meal. The special, available every day, invites patrons to choose any two slices from the vast and tempting array displayed behind the glass counter, paired with a fountain drink of their choice. This flexibility allows for a customized lunch, whether one craves the classic simplicity of a cheese slice, the savory appeal of pepperoni, or a more adventurous daily special creation. The true aficionado knows, however, that the perfect complement to the savory, foldable slices is the consistently available cherry soda. While the pizzeria offers a standard selection of soft drinks, the sweet and tangy fizz of a cherry soda has become the unofficial, yet always available, beverage of choice for this particular lunch combo. It’s a small detail, but one that elevates the experience from a mere meal to a cherished ritual. This reliable pairing of two freshly baked pizza slices and an ever-present cherry soda is more than just a lunch special; it’s a comforting constant, a taste of tradition that keeps the community coming back to Bruno Bros. Pizza day after day. The clatter of plates, the lively chatter of fellow diners, and the familiar taste of this specific combination create a midday escape that is both satisfying and...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I hail from New York City. Naturally, I’m a pizza snob. I’ve lived in PA for many years and have tried every pizza place the locals have ever recommended. I have NEVER found any pizza as DELICIOUS as Bruno Bro’s!!! It is straight up NYC style, pizza-by-the-slice, with light, homemade sauce, and covered in delicious fresh cheese. It’s heated to perfection and is mouthwatering with some garlic granules and red pepper flakes thrown on top. It tastes just like Home. My husband said that the stuffed pizza was delicious as well, but I don’t like sausage so I didn’t try it. Really, I’d recommend this place to anyone within an hour of driving! On top of all this, their soda machine dispenses cherry Fanta! I’ve never seen it anywhere before, but I was really good mixed with root beer. The woman working was very polite and the man in the back was friendly as well. 10/10 will be returning often, even if it is a 45 minute drive for me! Bruno’s was recommended to us by the staff at Rocco’s Vape Lounge, which I also strongly recommend if you vape or want to...
Read moreincredibly authentic to its New York style in its crust and thin, but still delicious homemade sauce. Feels like a real authentic pie shop too, you just go in and order a slice if you'd like, or order ahead for a whole pie.
In my meat eating days I could attest to their rolls being one of one, amazingly delicious creations. Now on my vegeterian kick, I can still find plenty yummy to eat here.
The pizza is just, really good. Really nails the style it's embodying. My only problems here are occasional weird things with the service that make me feel a little too much like I'm in New York. Casual swearing, and spilling of conspiracy theories behind the counter are a little off putting.
All things considered though that kinda only adds to the vibe, one bite of this pizza will let you know exactly why it won all the valley awards it did. And that's the slice, the reheated, already prepped slice. The fresh made to order pizzas are truly on a...
