I guess I haven't been to sandwich factory probably in 15 years. So I was over by there tonight and I talked to someone about a week ago that they were impressed by the size of the sandwiches I ordered a giant tuna sub and asked them to add tomato. I was kind of shocked by the price and they charge you more if you pay with a debit card. And that's actually a legal when you don't give someone a chance to pay with a debit card with a pin. So I get it to go and I'm driving towards Pennsylvania and I eat half of the sub and realize there's no tomato. And I was less than enthused by the flavor. The oil and vinegar was hit or miss and mostly miss. And I was very disappointed that their sub buns really have no flavor. I called the location and told them And the young person that answered the phone It was nice enough And offer to let me come back in and get the tomatoes because there's really no charge for those anyway But he blamed it on a new person that forgot to put them on. I don't like talk about competition on someone else's site but you should go check out DiBellas in Boardman. Let me tell you they know how to make Subs and they're full of flavor and full of toppings for the money you pay. I'm not a cheap person but there's absolutely no value in buying a sub sandwich from the sandwich factory. Just a total waste of my time and I will...
Read moreUpdate 2025: Stopped in for a sandwich today. I was waiting patiently for someone to come to the counter when another customer came in. She walked to the other side of me and looked at the menu. When the kid came up to the counter, she quickly stepped up, ignoring the fact that I had already been waiting to order. When I tried to tell her I had been there first, she rudely gave her order instead of letting someone else go before her. One of the other employees quickly noticed and came around to wait on me at the other register. And once I received my food, the other employee apologized. I appreciated it, although I told him it was not him that was rude but the lady. I love the food here and the service is pretty good too!! Thank you for apologizing for something that was not your fault!!
When I was little, there was a sandwich factory in Warren that my mom always took me to. Then it closed (and now little wings is there, so it’s ok). When I found this one in Austintown, I was so excited and they lived up to my memories! The bread is amazing and when you add the vinegar, I melt. I’m almost drooling just thinking about their subs! I try and stop every time I go to Austintown now! Thanks for keeping a littles girls...
Read moreFood was good. However the service unfortunately has taken a significant drop to service standards. I ordered my meal today at 7:15pm over the phone. They said 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at 7:31. I did not walk out the door until 7:58. Meanwhile there are 4 others that had waited just as long while the kids(the entire staff was high-school kids) were laughing, playing and throwing fries at each other. I listened to the phone ring non stop till someone must have hung up and called back to listen to it ring again non stop. The associates were saying we close in 40 minutes. Im not answering. This use to be the place for 25 years I enjoyed. But the store hiring seems to be killing the quality/professional and service standards. It hurts to leave this comment as I grew up loving this place. But to feel like I am at a kids playground, while waiting for my food that took twice the time I was told. Not for me, but you are all welcome to try and I hope that your experience is SOOO much...
