Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Austintown

I go here once a week at least for my daughter. I usually order from the app with my name most of the time. Last week she found a wood chip in her sandwich that is made plain with no lettuce but had tomatoes. I didn’t know until that night about it and the next day I talked to Alex who swore that they’re are no wood chips at the restaurant and must be from the car wash next door. I did believe him at first. I received a refund and asked for the cameras to be checked to find out who and wanted a gift card when they did to believe me because they didn’t. I called a few days later and talked to another female manager and she said they told her the owner and managers checked the cameras and saw the person make my sandwich and didn’t see anything wrong. Yet, there is wood chips in the parking lot around the bushes. I did get 2 free cards for a free sandwich and received the next meal free. I wouldn’t dare my child to eat a sandwich with a wood chip in it for the about I received free. She didn’t even know until she was almost done with it. I think someone knows and did it and will do it again. No doubt...

Salad is so good and so were the fries. The fries were fresh and delicious. The only reason why I’m giving Chick-fil-A a 4 star instead of 5 is because they have their employees standing out taking orders in 90 degree weather when there’s a heat wave going on. The other employee told me that they switch turns when I said something to the window. It doesn’t matter if they switch turns every hour it’s too hot to stand out there for an hour with a cooler of water and a little fan. Chick-fil-A should be ashamed of themselves letting their employees stand out there during a heat wave and they don’t even get paid enough for that. They work minimum wage jobs and have their employees stand out in the heat. Then they claim to be a Christian fast food restaurant. We’re talking about health, not just that they’re not being paid enough to stand out there. I was so concerned. They need to be inside when it’s above 85 let alone 92...

Now this 1 star is due to the experience I had before I ever got my food. The car in front of me had their dog all out the window. When pulling up to the window the employee not only fed the dog, but petted the dog then went back inside. I’m not sure if she washed her hands after, but the thought IN MY MIND is that’s disgusting!!!! On so many levels that is severely nasty! When dealing with food the thought of petting someone else’s dog, feeding a dog, touching your hair, nose, etc. should always be at the forefront of your mind. The employee did not know if the dog had worms, flees, ticks, etc. Then you think I’m supposed to stay in line and wait for you to get my food after you’ve touched and fed a dog. Stop it!
