I went on a Flying Fish Tour in Avalon 6/29/16 on the Catallac and was extremely disappointed. I have been taking these tours since they began about 5 yrs ago. and have totally loved and enjoyed them in the past. Captain John King made them fun, educational and pointed out interesting aspects of the Island. I was shocked and upset that the boat ride was not a tour but a poorly conducted speed ride that didn’t even last an hour. It was going so fast that what flying fish that were visible went by so quickly that probably many never even saw the flying fish. I later found out that the Flying Fish Tour is is no longer managed by Afishinados but the Island Company. My family and I will not be taking these tours again. It was a waste of money. I wish I knew that Captain John was no longer conducting the tours, I may not have gone. What a...

We had the best time last June on their flying fish to her. Such fun. They are so funny. It was so beautiful. It was the first time I've ever been to the Pacific Ocean and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Highly recommend the tour and it's absolutely worth the cost. We also checked out their Gallery the next day and got the most beautiful cards that are too pretty to send and we have framed hanging...

Captain John knew just where to go and we saw sea lions and the highlight was the amazing and numerous dolphins that swam along beside the boat continuously!
