I rarely post a negative comment. Unless the service is really bad. The service was really bad. Very disorganized system. Cashier couldn’t manage a simple online order. Offered to make the hot tea and iced coffee immediately and appeared to start the process. Eventually marked order ready 12 minutes later when I enquired why everyone else already walked away with food, drinks, etc. Barista argued that order was still coming. I asked for a refund and the manager argued that the order was now ready ahead of the promised online time and I was “silly” for not accepting it. Had a few other reasons why I was wrong. Never a good position to take with a paid customer in the food service business. Refunded the purchase but forgot to return the tip. I’ll submit a chargeback with my credit card company. Plenty of other friendly coffee shops nearby.

Owner/Manager - I disagree with your response. I would have accepted a even less than a profuse apology and my drink order had you been truly apologetic. Instead your cashier walked away, your Barista complained to you about me while walking away and you defended your staff instead of listening. Again, early in the process I asked if better to cancel the online order needing 24 minutes and just order directly at the counter. Your cashier said she would make the drinks. I asked for an update 12 minutes later after everyone ahead of us departed. The cashier claimed to be backed up on drinks because I had both a hot and cold item. I make tea at home. Fairly quick process. Maybe the iced drink requires extra time. So don’t offer to “make the drinks now” then say backed up. Then don’t waste more of my time defending your process and tell me that my order is ready when it’s not. I see your many positive reviews. I am not one of them. Own the problem....

The person preparing food did not have gloves on. He was preparing food bare hands and was using the rug to clean the space in between preparing food with same bare hands without washing it. We were in line for 30 min hungry and our food was ready so we didnt want to go through the hassle of refund or leaving the food, but we are never going back or recommending this to anyone. I got build my own burrito with Chipotle chicken. It had 3 pieces of not so fresh and tasteless chicken. Had nothing Chipotleish about it. Overall burrito was dry and tasteless even with so much added to it. $5.5 slice of vegan banana nut cake was sugary over the moon doughy, and chewy. We also got build out own bagel with vegan sausage that tasted nothing like sausage, but the bagel was good. Coffee tasted burned. We also got scrambled eggs and turkey sausage for our dog. At least he enjoyed his plate. For such low quality food that's grossly made with dirty bare hands that uses rugs lying right next to your food, this place is absolutely not worth it. It was disappointing and waste of money! In response to business managers feedback, I'm surprised what we witnessed is considered sanitation. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the coffee shop.

First and foremost, let me start by raving about their iced mocha. It was simply outstanding. The perfect blend of rich, smooth coffee and luscious chocolate, it provided a refreshing and invigorating pick-me-up on a warm day. The baristas at Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co truly know their craft, as the balance of flavors was impeccable.

Another standout item on their menu was the breakfast burrito, which I ordered without bacon. The combination of fluffy scrambled eggs and savory cheese was a taste sensation. The burrito was generously portioned, satisfying both my hunger and my taste buds. It was a wonderful choice to start the day on a savory note.
