Fun boat ride, worth taking as it is quite different to the Catalina Express ferry. I took my bike from Avalon to Two Harbors on the boat and it worked out great. Extremely friendly and helpful staff that worked loading/unloading and knew exactly how and where to prop the bikes to keep them safe. Really appreciated the friendly treatment. Highly recommend as a method of getting yourself + a bike/luggage to Two Harbors...

We recently took the Cyclone power boat from Two Harbors to Avalon on Catalina Island, and it was a blast! The ride was fun and not too expensive, offering breathtaking views of the island along the way. Whether you choose to spend the day in Avalon or Two Harbors, this experience is definitely worth it. Helpful and convenient way to get from Avalon to Two Harbors. Captain and crew are always friendly and accommodating. On my last trip the Captain slowed down briefly to point out a pod of bottlenose dolphins! Trip is about 40 minutes but feels like 20 while you enjoy the views. Gets really sunny and windy - wear a jacket...

We had a blast round trip from Avalon to two harbors. Cyclone glides pretty fast on coastal waters you get the views and Misty breeze in open deck seating. For $32 per person round trip that is about 45 minutes each way not only a bargain but also lots of fun.
