M & R which stands for Marrion and Roy, is a family owned business established in 1952. The first store was in Glastonbury, CT and then there were a total of 14 stores throughout CT. There are currently 6 stores and on the family's 3rd generation of operating. Those 6 stores are located in Avon, Farmington, Glastonbury, Manchester, South Windsor, and Southington.

This location in Avon is located on the busy route 44. I've driven by this place many times and was finally able to stop in. The parking lot was spacious.

No matter who you ask in the place, they all seem to know quite a bit about wine and are very good at making pairing selections if you give them the information about what you're serving.
