Deepwater Seafood — Restaurant in Avon

I tend to be wary of seafood places when there's no major body of water nearby but the menu looked good so I stopped in today. No smell of fish in the store which is always a good sign. Got a NE chowder and a shrimp po boy. Chowder was good, equal portions of everything so it wasn't like you found one clam or one piece of potato. Po boy was equally good, flavors and seasonings that you could taste individually but that also blended well together. They used several large shrimp which was nice compared to the usual hard fried mini shrimp that some places use. The fry on the shrimp was a little soggy, possibly because I took it to go. It didn't taste oily or feel heavy, certainly did not detract from the overall sandwich. There's 2 booths in the place so looks better to call in for take out, but would definitely head...

5 stars all day!! Stopped in for lunch for the first time today and everything was great! We got the clam chowder which hit the spot, but the real highlights were the fish and chips and the clam strip sandwich. Hands down the best clam strips and fish and chips I’ve ever had, and that’s coming from someone who grew up at the Jersey shore and has vacationed up and down New England eating some the best.

It was all incredibly fresh and hot, well prepared, perfectly seasoned, lightly fried, and all around delicious.

Also of note; the staff there was so friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. I can’t recommend Deepwater...

OMG this hidden gem is the place I've looking for all my life. This is going to be my new place. I have driven by this place for so many years but for some reason I never stopped by until last week and the rest is history. First time I ordered fish N chips which was crazy good, it was enough for both my husband and I. Today I had shrimp scampi which was absolutely delicious. If I can rate this place above 5 I would. Family-owned friendly staff, fresh food and great prices. You can order to go, or they have little seating area. The next time I going to try their shrimp Taco. Go try it and tell them Silvia...
