Haggin Oaks Farmers Market — Local services in Bakersfield

Our local farmers market is a fantastic place to find fresh, local products, and some of my favorite vendors really make it special. Blue Magnolia Bread offers incredible, fresh-baked loaves that are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—such a treat! French Delice is another standout, known for their amazing hummus and freshly made pita. The hummus is always creamy and flavorful, and the pita is soft, making it perfect for dipping or enjoying on its own. Tea Lucky also brings a unique touch with their wide selection of specialty teas, perfect for any tea lover. An assortment of vendors selling veggies, fruit, fresher unpasteurized eggs, bacon, candles, hummus, coffee beans, artisan breads, nuts, candies, semi-mass produced handmade trickets, michelada mix, BBQ, toys, dog treats, peanut butter, Mexican food, sandwich truck, BBQ sauces and seasonings, micro-greens, and pastries. It's not bad, just wish there were more vendors. Be sure though to bring sun glasses, sun screen, and possibly a hat and of course re-useable bags and consider parking on the backside of Kaiser if you arrive late. There's Martin's Meats which always has a long line. There are several vendors that take credit card as well but it's advised to take at least $40 in cash with you just in case.
