Prime Sushi — Restaurant in Bakersfield

My fiancé visited the nutrition shop next door and saw that they were hosting a grand opening tonight - 50% off the bill. He decided to treat me, and what a treat it was! He ordered the beef gyoza, a sunkissed roll, and the Mexican roll. I ordered the crispy rice appetizer and the bento box D. The food has amazing flavor! It was all fantastic, and the normal prices are some of the best I’ve seen in town (for quality sushi). We finished with dessert, he had the fried cheesecake and I with the green tea mochi. I can tell the mochi is homemade, and he loved the cheesecake! We will definitely be back - this place will have a line out the door once...

I ordered the sunomono (cucumber salad) - it was tangy, sweet, delicious, and refreshingly cool which really hits the spot as the weather warms up.

I also had a salmon skin roll. It was cooked to perfection, didn’t have a lot of flare but great salmon skin rolls do not need it. The salmon skin was crunchy and smoky, and very satisfying. A good salmon skin roll done right is hard, and I consider it one of those things that sets a great sushi place apart from good ones.

This is one of the great ones. Go and experience Prime Sushi, I can’t imagine anyone would be...

This place has some really great sushi! I can't remember the last time I ordered sushi and loved every single dish, but I absolutely did here! All of the rolls were extra flavorful and presented beautifully! The blooming onion roll had amazing flavor! Everything was super fresh! We will be going back ASAP.
