I got Zion right before COVID. I don’t know what his previous owners did to him but he was very nervous and reactive. I took him to Petco for training but the trainer, let’s just say wasn’t very effective.The neighbors at the apartment at which I was living at the time complained every time Zion walked from one part of my apartment to another. School was still in a brick and mortar so I needed to find someone to take care of him during the day. I stumbled upon Demille and Jill and let them know my situation, how Zion was, etc. They met him and agreed to board him during the week. They would send me pictures and Zion looked super happy. Without knowing it, they helped Zion immensely. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon the unofficial dog park at Wyman Park. At first we were skeptical about letting him go but then we remembered the pictures Jill and Demille would send of him playing with other dogs, being happy and we let him go and he was just fine. He was calm. His reactivity had significantly diminished. When I travel, it’s Jill and Demille I call because they know Zion and his quirks and love him regardless. Demille is a dog whisperer. My great dane/walker tree hound loves him. He looks forward to the daily walks and is excited to see him each and every time. He comes back the happiest boy from each walk. And, he is not easy to deal with - is very reactive and skittish.

Hampden Hounds (Jill and Demille) are extremely responsive and responsible, and can adopt to my sometimes changing schedules. They have keys to my pad and I trust them inherently.

Also, Jill and Demille have been able to adjust to my crazy work schedule and have been able to walk Ivan and also his brother and pesty bishon on very short notice.
