RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. My family arrived at this establishment and were the only ones there. We placed our order and drinks and noticed everything was taking a while to come out. To say the least, two white families got there after we did. They sat, ordered their drinks/ food, ate and were gone. We still had not received our order. We asked the waiter about our order, and he stated he could check on it if we wanted him to and it would be another 15 min. We ordered nothing complicated. We decided we no longer wanted to deal with such ignorance and asked for the check. It was $89 for two spicy miso soups, 2 margaritas and one beer. When we asked for the itemized check, they refused and stated they do not provide itemized checks. Bravo Sierra. As we walked out of the restaurant, a member of our family heard an employee say ‘look at the cockroaches leave in the van.’ It’s amazing there are people who still act like this today. God...
Read moreGreat addition to the Bandon restaurant scene. Seaweed and cucmber salads were clearly made fresh. Sushi rice was spot on. Quality wasabi and ginger are used. We got four different rolls, all were excellent. Most sushi places have a mayo based "house sauce" that we find detracts from the actual fish and overall taste of the roll. One of our rolls had their house sauce but it was excellent. Provided some spice and flavor that complimented the sushi roll. Met the owner who was very nice. Nice staff, quick service. The restaraunt has a lot of hard surfaces which made it a little loud but that is literally the only constructive comment we had. This placed easily moved into our must stop places to eat when we...
Read moreBandon Sushi is a cozy and clean restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and genuinely kind staff. We arrived just after closing time on a Monday, and they still let us in with smiles. We never felt rushed, which made the experience even better.
The edamame was tasty, and the rainbow roll was exceptional. The seasonal Pacific roll (I believe that was the name) ended up being our favorite. The Old Town Hamachi was solid, but the local seared albacore with house ponzu was spectacular. As a sweet surprise, they even gave us miso soup to go, which we enjoyed on our walk back to the hotel.
If you are anywhere near Bandon and craving sushi, this place is a must. Just be sure to check their hours before...
