Whenever I find myself in Bandon, this is my favorite lunch spot. They aren't kidding when they say that you come as a customer and leave as a friend. They really are a friendly bunch, that cares that you are happy with every aspect of your visit. They made this clear to me one afternoon when I mistakenly made an order for my lunch at the wrong location. They went out of their way to make sure that I wasn't held up because of my mistake & that I also wasn't charged for my mistake. After that incident, everyone would call me by my name & knew my usual order & made sure I was taken care of as efficiently as possible. With service that great, they could've phoned in the food with your typical store deli offerings of Jojo's, nacho cheese & chili in a pump for some stale chips or microwaved burgers, & the ubiquitous hot dogs rotating on a contraption. However, they bring a menu offering either smoked pork or creme chicken in their own take on burritos, tacos, & nachos. If you are lucky enough to show up on Wednesday or Friday you'll also have the option of some carne asada to fill your order. Personal favorites for me are The Criminal & Smokey the Pig! So happy we found this place! Traveling home to MT after driving down the coast we stopped for lunch. First off the staff there was AWESOME! The guy (super friendly, fun, helpful & professional) running the tile welcomed us in and when he found out we had never been in before gave us a run down of choices and specials, the young lady and man making the food were so friendly, helpful and professional. Got the dirty bird burrito (pulled pork shoulder/hot) it was huge with a lot of flavor, for $11.99 it is worth the price. Also purchased a bag of their sweet spicy siracha jerky, wish I would have bought more then one bag, the flavor was amazing. The food was memorable and the staff made it that much more. I never write reviews but today I randomly thought of the tacos my daughter and I had at this place over a month ago, wishing they were local while I was eating chipotle for lunch. We were stopped to charge our car and looking for a place to eat, this is about 3 blocks from the charging station, so just sheer luck that we got to experience this place! We drove across the country, down the coast, then all the way back home and these were, hands down, the best tacos we had during our entire trip. Cutest little family owns it & the staff was amazing...the vibe couldn't have been friendlier. Thank you for being on the top 5 meal stops of our trip! If you're passing through on HWY 101 or staying in town, definitely worthy...
