A pastry drama in two acts... Act I: My girlfriend and I visit Pastries and Pizza at 8:44 AM. Greeted by the bubbly, happy woman behind the counter, we place our order for a powdered sugar donut filled with lemon for my girlfriend, and two cakey donuts for me (maple frosted with chocolate sprinkles and chocolate frosted with chocolate sprinkles). We enjoyed the magic of Circles in the Sand for an hour and a half, which left us happy but cold from the constant wind on the beach... We retreated to our car to enjoy our treats (maple donut for me). Bliss.

Act II: Four hours later, we reach the top of Humbug Mountain just south of Port Orford, and the chocolate frosted donut makes the perfect dessert for our post-picnic hike.

Pastries & Pizza is the best locals' spot we found in Bandon. Prices are ridiculously low, quality is nom nom nom nom yummy (my girlfriend is a supertaster, so when she says, "Wow! This is the real deal " when she got her first taste of the lemony filling, I tend to believe her), the service is awesome, and it's super convenient.

My only regret is I didn't leave room for pizza. All the more reason...

Piss poor treatment of customers, very judgemental and impatient. Floorplan had changed since my last visit when it used to be another establishment so when I went to the bathroom I tripped over a table blocking the way and because my kidneys are shutting down I ended up having an accident. Then an employee beat on the door because I apparently was taking too long when I was trying to clean up. I spoke with an employee when I came out and suggested they may want to change the placement of the table stating I didn't remember it being there to which she rolled her eyes and said "that's because it's a different business" as if I should have automatically known. I let her know I had no idea because they still had the sign for the other. Even with that treatment I started to say I liked them because I've always felt relaxed by their friendly personality and was about to order when she walked away saying they weren't friendly and she had work to do . It says something when the employees themselves say they aren't friendly. I will never return and I do NOT recommend to even my...

So glad we stopped here! We we're traveling through and wanted a quick bite before continuing down the road. If we weren't looking for it, it would have been easy to miss. It's a bit of a hole in the wall with not much in the way of seating, but don't be alarmed! The ladies were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions for places to visit while we were in the area and directions for an outdoor seating area. We took a short three minute drive to the downtown and ate on the dock. We would have driven through without seeing this if we hadn't stopped for the pizza and that would have been a shame. Bandon's downtown is quaint with neat little shops. But back to the food! We ordered a large pizza and two cookies and it was only $14! Such a steal! Not only was the pizza great, she threw in a few extra treats, with a wink and a smile! If you like a good thick crust pizza and melt in your mouth butter cookies, take a chance and pop in. You...

Wow, this place rocks! Stopped in initially for donuts and pastries. The woman was so friendly and helpful, and after reciting all the prices for everything in the case, we knew we'd be taking home a box of sweets - prices are more than reasonable! She even wrapped up our things well "to go" as we were saving them for the following day (since they were closed for 2 days, and we would be gone by then). After such great service (and awesome reviews) we came back that night for 2 pizzas (veggie and Hawaiian) - they were amazing, and again, so well priced esp for Bandon where everything seems expensive. The monstrous Bavarian cream pastry was so delicious (not dry at all) with moist thin layers that practically melted in my mouth. Cookies were awesome too! She said her husband gets up at 2am every morning to start baking. What a gem this place is, and you can taste the love. Super friendly and awesome food. We would come back to Bandon for this place alone!!

I wish we would have bought more of their creme filled cone looking things. BY FAR THE BEST, FLUFFIEST, LIGHTEST DELICIOUS SLICE OF HEAVEN, I have ever taste. They also had cute octopus stickbuns/cinnamon rolls? Wasn't too sure what it was but, I HIGHLY recommend coming in and trying their pastries. The women who attended to us, provided great service. It was our first time visiting. Side note; They do have a huge Trump flag there which I felt was a bit much but the ladies there and the one who attended to us, were VERY kind. There was a customer who came in after us, who were a but rude and just kept giving us dirty looks but we didn't let that, or any of those other things bother us, as again, the ladies who were working there, were nothing but kind.

Their eclair's the best I ever had and the kids loved it too (shared). We ordered half cheese and half hawaiian pizza for dinner and that is probably the only time both kids ate almost an entire box themselves since they are usually so finicky! The owner was a sweetheart and she didn't get upset when out daughter helped herself to a cookie from behind the counter when we we're ordering and paying. Everyone was nice and the cookies we did buy (day old bag for $3) were amazing and the kids looked forward to it every night during out stay. I think out of the entire bag I got one XD Also their double chocolate chip is to die for! So soft and chewy!
