Elks Lodge — Local services in Bangor

We visited the lodge while on an RV trip through Maine. As noted in other reviews, what a warm and welcoming lodge. The activity in this lodge reminded me of the old days in the lodge in which I grew up. The parking lot was full, there were tables of people everywhere, and everyone was having a good time. We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and met some very interesting people, some local, and some from other lodges and states. The most incredible Elks Lodge we have ever visited. The outpouring welcomes we received the first night when we went over to the Lodge for dinner was amazing. Never have we felt so welcomed.

The Lodge has nearly 1,200 members, and they are very active in community support programs.

Where do I begin, my husband has a bad back and was told he wasn't handicap enough to sit at the handicap table. Then the ones that take 6 chairs and don't offer them up when needed they cater to.
