Plenty parking here the place is a food shack in the parking lot of a movie theater. it is a pretty laid back eating experience.

The shack is right next door from the Fairfield hotel so it is within walking distance, but keep in mind that they close at 6pm and also if they run out of lobster u will be out of luck for the day, they do have lines sporadically so chances are high that they will run out of lobster.

They have picnic tables outside so we can eat right there, the staff is super nice and they also take credit cards which is super convenient

The menu is posted right next to the ordering window, and seems like most if not all meals cone with fries, a pickle and coleslaw.

They oddly only give a couple of napkins and that was annoying to me, once you order at the window they call u by the name when it is ready and the meal comes in a to go style in a bag with plastic utensils and ketchup, but the one or two napkins was not something I loved.

MOXIE- this is a soda made only here, I got it to try and I did not like it at all, if you are a fan of root beer then this is a soda for you, but for me it was not a match

QUARTER POUDER LOBSTER ROLL- only one roll with a very straightforward name, the side of fries needed a bit more salt and the lobster was a bit too blend too for my taste, but that is just me. I loved the size of the pieces of lobster though. the roll was nice and buttery too.

CRAB ROLL- came back for dinner and they were out of lobster so I got the crab roll, well it does not compare to the lobster, the crab was a little dry and very blend, needed a lot of salt for sure. I would not recommend eating the crab here.

In summary, this is a nice place to visit and try if you are around as the prices are a little more affordable than a restaurant in the area and you will still get that Maine lobster. I did learn here that the lobster in Maine is not cheaper compared to other states but easier to find for sure.

The only negatives in my opinion were the napkins availability and the salt should be also available, but beyond that this was...

UPDATE: Saw the owners' response and had to make something clear. They have some great fries, I doubt anywhere in Bar Harbor can match the fries at this joint. That said, I happened to have a lobster roll in Bar Harbor with less mayo than this place and much tastier meat for around the same price here too. Bar Harbor as a whole is a huge tourist trap and I'm sure you have some subpar lobster rolls there but there are some places there that make a better roll than Lobster Buoy and I wouldn't go around dissing those places if you can't make a roll tasty enough to compete with them. Stay classy

Got the 8oz Lobster Roll bordering on $60 and while it did have 8 oz of lobster meat, the meat itself was just okay. It wasn't bad at all but nothing to write home about, and I personally thought the lobster roll was decent. It definitely wasn't the best I had in Maine if I'm being honest. That said, the fries that came with it were delicious and the cole slaw was okay. I gave this place 4 stars because I tried the shrimp platter and it was actually really good. For about $20, the shrimp platter is not a bad value at all. If I were to come back to this place, I'd probably skip the lobster and just get the shrimp. On the bright side, the service was friendly and you had a few tables outside the truck, although they were all...

You can't imagine how amazing this little trailer is! Please drop everything you are doing and go there right now. If you want a fresh seafood experience that is authentic to the eastern coast of the United States, this is it! I ordered the lobster roll with french fries and I was completely blown away. The lobster roll was loaded with the most incredible fresh lobster I've ever had. It had a light, fresh dressing and looked amazing. The fries were fresh cut and fried after my order was placed. Who does that!?!? Seating was alfresco and with ample parking and could even take my semi tractor( Yes I actually did this and I have witnessesto prove it!). Do not let it's diminutive size fool you! This is not a drill! You have not had anything like this before if your best experience consists of Red Lobster or Long John Silvers. You should be at the Lobstah Bouy now! Why are you still reading...
