Save your self the time, energy, sanity and money and DO NOT ATTEMPT to get a decent picture from JCP Portraits. We are going Sunday for a makeup session since the first batch we did were so bad. They canāt refund my money bc I stupidly paid for the digital release. Someone already called from the store today to let me know they donāt have a camera that can take a picture without a flash to accommodate my husbandās glasses. I canāt change my infantās outfit this time. And we only get 15 minutes. Do I even waste our time and energy going back!? The first trip the girl was very very nice she just had no skills/training with the camera. Hands/feet were chopped off the sides of pictures. I asked for no props. Every shot she handed my kid something to hold except for one where he and the stool heās on is totally off center. Other picture/Subjects way off center. Glares on glasses every picture except one. She put my husband on the shorter stool for every shot. We are not Morticia and Gomez. She had my son awkwardly bent around a chair in one shot. Weird cropping. Odd angles. No thoughtful āhey letās fix the cuff of your sleeve or fly away hairs real quick that literally just take a glance and two second fix. Just inexperienced, careless mistakes but...

Instead the photographer walks up and says āIām running hours behind, my camera has been have issues todayā so naturally, my response was āit would have been nice to receive a phone call letting us know, we have 3 small children hereā instead of being professional, the photographer then says āI still have multiple people ahead of you, itās going to be hours before I can get you. I still have a 1āoclock appointment waiting. Do you need to me to reschedule you?ā No thank you. Iāll take my business elsewhere. Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely disappointed. The photographer (Robin) was basically a robot and just wanted to get things done as quick as possible. We have a toddler and a newborn. Robin was moving so fast without regards to who she was working with, it worked my toddler up more and terrified my newborn. Then she had the audacity to sit behind the desk and tell her co-worker how bad my toddler was....if she had taken the time to not run around frantically, might have gotten some decent pictures.
