We were informed that if we were not satisfied with our mattress, we could get a full refund. Apparently that is not true. We returned our mattress, however we are out $500 because no one told us that we would not be refunded the cost of delivery and pick up fee. We were never told this information by the salesman or the woman we talked to on the phone when we discussed that we would like to return it. We offered to pick up or deliver the mattress ourselves to save us the charge but they told us that was not an option. We were also told by the salesman in store that the pump was built in to the mattress. That is also not true. When our mattress was delivered, we were surprised to see them hooking up a pump underneath the bed. We could not even raise or adjustable base very high because it would pull the hoses on the pump. The salesman was aware that we were not interested in purchasing an adjustable base from sleep number because we wanted to be able to return it if necessary, and he never disclosed this information. We didn’t find out until we called to return it that the pump is only built into the base if you buy the base from sleep number. The mattress we received was the same model we ordered and tried in store (the P5), however we felt that the one we got was thinner than the one we tried. Also, when you have the bed at a softer number, it feels as if you are lying in a hammock with your feet and head up higher than your butt. We tried low numbers, high numbers and everything in between. The higher numbers were way too hard and the lower numbers were not comfortable at all. We had called to discuss this and she sent us to an article saying that you should have your bed adjusted to a number where your body lays flat. Well in order to do that, the bed basically had to be as inflated as it can get but that makes it way too hard and I thought the whole purpose was to be able to adjust it to however soft or hard you want it? Read moreI want to commend Zach, April and Michael for being such gracious hosts at the Barboursville Sleep Number Bed location. They were extremely welcoming and completely honest and respectful. They answered all of our questions in detail. They allowed us all the time we needed to discuss each bed they presented to us. They were not pushy or impatient as they understood the importance of allowing/encouraging us to take our time and make sure we were completely comfortable with our decision. We took our time and told them we would go home and discuss our potential purchase over the weekend. My wife and I talked about our choices and decided we wanted the I360 climate control bed. We went back to the store and provided our decision. Within 20 minutes we were in and out with the peace of mind knowing we would be receiving our forever bed within 2 weeks. Read moreThese are pretty incompetent people in my experience. I ended up having to cancel my order because they couldn't accommodate my availability after they failed to deliver the product. I had to leave work early to meet the 4 hour time frame which was 4 to 7pm. They never showed up and didn't receive a text or call. Found out by calling customer service at 10pm that they broke down and tried to call at 9pm. Tried to reschedule for the next day and they couldn't deliver until that next Monday. Another weekend without a bed. I moved mine to be ready for the new one. They didn't work with me at this location at all. I had to cancel my purchase and go get a mattress so I could have something to sleep on. I'm very dissatisfied with this company.
