I got the 'best pepperoni roll in West Virginia'- if this is the best y'all can do, then just give up.
The service was prompt and easy, I liked that tax was already written into the price. The food however, left a lot to be desired.
Again, I got the pepperoni roll. The roll was incredibly heavy for the size, bread shouldn't be that heavy unless it's just a giant dough ball with no structure- guess what, that's exactly what their bread is like. Not only is the bread like eating a half cooked dough ball, it's so incredibly greasy. They made a point about keeping their bread recipe for 40 years..... Y'all should maybe try changing it.
After gnawing through the dough ball, I was met with a little bit of cheese and a small sliver of pepperoni. They cut the sandwich into quarters for you, and the first quarter I selected had almost nothing in it. Then the second quarter had almost nothing. I dug around the sandwich and found 80% of the meat in a single quadrant. If you can't be bothered to make the thing right, why bother at all?
Maybe I just got them on a bad day? I really don't understand the praise that they've gotten from other patrons. Are food options that bad in...
Read moreThis was my first and last time choosing Big Loafer in the mall to eat. I get to the register and the male cashier said I’ll be right back to take your order but I have to clean the dining room first. So the dining room is more important than customers that want to order? I stood there 5-6 minutes before someone took my order. There was a sign up that said the mozzarella sticks were homemade so I was excited to try them. They definitely are NOT homemade. Tasted exactly like what I would get at Arby’s but with burnt up oil. So by this point I was so frustrated I just picked the breading off and ate the cheese. The state of the business is gross. The signs are extremely faded, covered with tape, and the sign that says chicken is backwards. Do you not even have enough pride in your business to fix that? You also need to train your employees to take care of customers and prioritize...
Read moreStopped in for a bite to eat. Walk up to the counter and the kid had his hand down the back of his pants, inside of his underwear, just scratching away. When he finally looked at me he asked "what do you want to order?" So I said "nothing! You've got your hand down your pants!! That's gross" and all he could say was "well I don't handle the food!" Even though there was food being handled directly at the counter as well. I turned around and left. If that's the best sanitary practices they've got in front of the public, I cringe to think what they do in the back with the majority of prep...
