Worst Kroger experience between pickup/and management So this week on Jan 18th⦠I originally had a pickup order scheduled ā¦so when I got there we needed a few extra things and the place was packed due to winter storm warnings out ā¦so I decided to be nice and not take up a pick up spot so someone who didnāt have to go in could park and pickup ..their app was messing up so I went to customer service explained app is messing up but Iām here for a pickup order but I had to grab some more things including a prescription so I would be glad to just pick up and save them the trouble of brining it outā¦.the gentleman at counter asked me which spot I was on explained to him that I didnāt park in pickup because I had to grab a few extra things. He finally walked to the back to let them know I was there and for them to pull my order ā¦he then comes back to counter and asked me what spot I was parked in I explained Iām not parked in pickup I was standing in front of him just needed them to bring the order up . Went back and forth a minute and finally just went and took up a pickup spot and told them to put it in the car. (it was like he was not understanding what I was explained ) after all this the lines are backed up worse than Iāve ever seen only had 2 cashiers open stood in line for 40 mins approx ā¦got up to front of line and the cashier super sweet gentleman you could see he wasnāt doing well , he completely just fell over right there on the spot, thankfully another employee grabbed him and helped him lay down gently because that wouldāve been a bad fall if not ā¦. But the most frustrating part about this is the manager heavier set gentleman middle aged was walking around and was like whatās going on everyoneās like I think he had a seizure ā¦this manager walks slow as a turtle I mean frustratingly slow and doesnāt even come check on him, thankfully 911 was already on the line to come help this guy out , (People donāt understand a couple seconds can save someoneās life )then he proceeds to open another line a few lanes down ā¦as a customer I was completely appalled that this guy firstly is a manager and didnāt even check on his employee and walked as slow as he possibly could I wanted to jump Over the counter and ask him WTH is wrong with you?!!! Complete lack of empathy and not being there for your employees that is your job title sir and you should be ashamed of your behaviors and replaced as a manager . I cannot believe they allow you to run a shift . And as far as the other employee who grabbed him and assisted him down so he didnāt bust his head open thank you and Iām sure he thanks you as well šš» and once again shame on your manager !! I absolutely was in shock at his behavior Iāve never seen...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been using clicklist for the last few months and loved it until last week. I scheduled my pick up between 4 and 5. We arrived right at 4:02 and called in. The associate told me that they were finishing my order and would be right out. (I had gotten an email at 2:00 saying that my order was complete but apparently that wasnt the case.) I waited and watched all of the other cars get loaded and leave. I called back at 4:29 to see if they had forgotten us and they assured me that they were checking the receipt and bringing my groceries right out. I called the store manager at 4:39 and tried to explain. I was put on hold twice and then finally got to speak to the manager. I explained the situation and she checked on my order and said it was coming out, but when I tried to explain that I had been waiting for 45 minutes she said to tell the co-manager who was coming out with my groceries. I was ticked and felt like the manager didn't really want to listen to my problem. The co-manager came out two minutes later with another associate to deliver my groceries. If my husband had not gotten out to help load them it would have taken even longer. The co-manager said that they were really busy and that she had to jump in over there to help out with Clicklist orders. I literally pointed at an SUV that just pulled up and was getting loaded. She apologized and said they took off my fee for ordering, but really after having waited for over 45 minutes I felt like they should do that for the next few orders I have. The co-manager agreed and said she'd make a note of it. We'll see if that happens or not. If it does then I will consider updating my one star review.
The whole point of using online ordering is for convenience, which is great for a working mother of twins. It's not great when I have to sit in my vehicle with my 5 year olds as they complain that it's taking too long to get our stuff. Next time, I'd like to leave my boys in their confined office so they can listen to them whine while I get the groceries myself.
If you bother with Clicklist at all take a few pointers from me...always specify that you want super fresh bread or they are going to give you the loaves that already feel stale. Double check the sizes of things because some of the pictures can be deceiving and that's burned me a couple of times. I don't care what time you arrive you can expect to wait 15 minutes (but 45 is ridiculous!!). Also check whether or not you are ok with substitutions. Items are frequently out of stock which means you may not get to use that coupon you thought...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy boyfriend and I did frequent this Kroger since weāve moved in. Iāve seen multiple people enter and exit the store with cats, kittens, dogs and puppies not wearing any shred of evidence of service animal vests or what have you. So this evening when we were driving home and I needed to stop for food we didnāt think anything of bringing our sick bal python in with us as sheās calm and honestly lethargic right now. The problem I have isnāt with the fact that we could not have her in the building, since I understand although no rules are posted and no information can be found on, in or directly outside the store that pets of any variety are not allowed. The problem I had was with the u scan associates reaction of screaming āGdd* itā and screaming at us to leave after we had made it through the store, selected our goods and chose to check out. Not one of the three associates weād encountered (one at the door and two sitting at Starbucks) had said anything nor alerted us to any wrong doing. But even that isnāt my qualm. My issue is with the way the situation was handled. We had two... elderly ladies SCREAMING at us to leave, pointing at my boyfriend and yelling at him to āget out of the store right nowā AS HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO THE DOOR. Not only that but I asked them both NUMEROUS times if I could just pay for my items and go as they were also screaming at me to leave despite my only holding Kroger merchandise and not a reptile. It is not a hyperbole when I say that Iāve never been so mortified and so angry at the mishandling of a situation in my entire life. Could someone not have pulled us aside and quietly asked him to leave and wait in the car or at the VERY LEAST quietly and professionally asked us both to leave the...
