Juanito's street taco truly impressed me with their delectable offerings. As a dedicated lover of street tacos, having sampled them across the nation, my standards are high. I indulged in three options: the carne asada, shredded chicken, and pastor. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, boasting authentic flavors and an ideal balance of fillings. Remarkably, even the shredded chicken, which often disappoints me in Mexican cuisine, became an unexpected favorite.

The array of accompanying sauces, especially the green avocado one, elevated the experience to new heights. However, the pinnacle of my culinary journey was the tamale. While the presence of queso surprised me, I couldn't deny the rich complexity of the filling. Its bold seasoning and subtle hint of spice created a symphony of flavors that lingered delightfully on my palate. Moreover, this tamale was a true masterpiece, generously packed with the delectable mixture.

Don't order Mexican bowls. I ordered 4, no meat, well I had 4 tiny pieces of shredded pork, no pico de gallo, literally most of it was refried beans. They weighed 4 lbs a piece and no wonder. Terrible! I've had their tacos from food truck in Etown, delicious. I would have never thought they could be that bad. Most people who know me, know I can eat Mexican food 3 times a week. I've been to most restaurants from Bardstown, Etown, Berea, Richmond. Never nothing quite like this. They need to hold the reigns on whoever was serving that night. And I saw I was charged 61 dollars on my bank account. I don't have the receipt anymore but it all totaled with tax, 52.00 and a 3.00 dollar tip. Should be 55.00. So they also decide their own tips. I had the food truck tacos and they were amazing. The food here at the restaurant was good too, But the tacos and such seemed to have much less seasoning and flavor. And last I was there the staff were slower than I've ever seen anyone working at a register, then gave me my change from her purse rather than the register.
