I bought a nice watch... not a super nice watch, but nice to me. I have a nice pen, too. I dropped the pen on the floor of my truck between the seat and the console. I reached down to get it, and when pulling my hand back out, the watch caught on something and I broke the clasp. Not badly, but enough so that the watch would loosen throughout the course of the day. The manufacturer wanted me to send it to them. Not send ME a new clasp, but send THEM the whole damn watch, have them look at it, determine if it was covered under warranty, fix the broken part or replace it, and then send the watch back to me. A process that could take as long as two months. I asked if I could just buy a new clasp and they could send it to me. They would not. I then went to Pro Jewelers. I handed the watch over the counter to Michael, and told him what happened. He looked at it and near-instantly determined that I had bent a pin. He then took out a tool and repaired it in a matter of seconds, fitted the watch to my wrist, and asked me how it felt. It felt like he did a great job! it felt like my watch was back on my wrist after a few minutes, rather than a few months. It felt like that's the reason this guy is still in business after years in an overpriced kiosk in a mall where huge corporations have trouble making it. I took my wallet out to pay and he simply said, "No charge, tell people about me." So that is what I'm doing. And, I feel that I need to add that in a world of Internet sales and 1-800-service numbers, having someone look you in the eye, shake your hand, and smile is something that we will miss when it's gone. This place still has that....

So glad I found Pro Jewelers online - they deserve all the great reviews! Walk past the big box stores in the mall and find Michael at his kiosk, well worth it. He discovered that someone had removed the tiny screw inside my watch, near where the battery goes, and took the time to replace it and the battery for me. If I'd brought the watch to one store closer to me in Plymouth I was told I'd have to leave it, they couldn't do it while I waited, but Michael, not only did he replace the battery while I waited, he basically repaired the watch as well. Terrific service and all with a nice banter and smile. Worth the trip to the Cape Cod Mall...

I had a wonderful experience with Michael in so many ways. Plan to use him again and would recommend him to anybody. First, he is a true professional and craftsman. It was obvious upon meeting him he is incredibly knowledgeable. He has decades of experience. He resized an engagement ring I had just purchased. The work was flawless. Also, he did in in two hours! I had spoken to other jewelers who had said it would take 1-2 weeks. Also, and equally as important, he was incredibly genuine, kind...
