O'Reilly Auto Parts — Local services in Batavia Township

I went to this O’Reilly store at 2230 Bauer Road, in Batavia at 6:20 this evening. I walked up to the counter and spoke to Jayden. I told him I needed wiper blades for my car. I told him the make, model, and year of my car. He walked me over to the wiper blades and helped me pick out my blades. He suggested the middle of the line priced blades. Perfect!

I picked out the brand and price I wanted to pay. I asked him if he could do a favor for me. I needed him to install them. He said sure without hesitation. I paid for the wipers and asked how much the installation would be. He told me it’s free.

We walked outside and he changed them in 5 minutes.

I usually have a good experience with all o' rielys but I had a check engine light come on so I stopped in to get it scanned because they have a big sign advertising a free check.

The store was empty and no phones were ringing but the guy said he was too busy and to come back after 9:00, I went home waited until 9 then drove another 20 min back to the store and a different guy told he was too busy and couldn't do it. The manager that was on duty today 10-18-20 knows his parts the kid that helped me didn’t know anything about car batteries except where they were LOL.

They do offer discounts for AAA and AARP they may take other ones but you have to ask nobody will tell you AARP gives you 10% off I don’t know about the others.

Went back today 10-21-20 to get my AARP so Mark and Dave were working today and their story changed about this discount I am disabled and they would not even honor my Medicare card when they said they could take a Medicare card and drivers license terrible...
