Gold Star — Restaurant in Batavia Township

My wife and daughter went to go pick up an online order. They arrived a little early and the order was not ready, which is fine. When my wife asked if the order was ready, the person at the window got very rude. As my wife is waiting for the order to be prepared the workers were inside making jokes someone who orders a Coney crate. Joking about how fat they must be. Then the workers were joking about doing stuff to the food to mess with it. A worker at the window was shushing everybody telling them to be quiet because the online order person is still at the window. As my wife is sitting in the Drive-Thru she called me and told me about this. I then called down to speak to the manager who was Christine or Christina. I explained to her that my wife and daughter were listening to what the workers were saying and how they're making jokes and talking about doing stuff to the food. She got rude and denied everything stating that nothing was ever said. I told her this was ridiculous and I'm going to take this above her head and she said good I hope you do. After reading reviews from the past several months at this location, this doesn't surprise me at all. Clearly there is a management problem that needs to be addressed and still has not been addressed. This location has forever lost a customer. We will definitely be warning friends and family...

Well normally don't post reviews but I feel tonight needs attention.i went in around 8pm and ordered 2 3ways and when we received them they were regular size so said something to waitress and she they were supers just on smaller plate said ok fine.we go to eat it and it's all noodles very little sauce so we speak to manager she says what they are supers before we even got say anything we asked where was chili she said it's on there I made them my self but u can buy extra.really don't think should have buy extra when literally all that was on it was water flavor chili.so I tell the manager iam not eating this she says ok we will bring u the bill.i said no iam not paying for anything when only had 1 drink of pop and 1 bite out of 3ways.she literally turns around and tells other employees we just don't wanna pay for it and starts smarting off stuff.price was so not the issue went across street ate at frischs with no problems.use to go here every week and last 4months it's went down hill so taught maybe if went inside it would be better I for one will not be back.also all employees was standing/sitting around talking all but the young long hair guy at window...

I eat at goldstar a lot. I eat at this location 2 maybe 3 times a week because of how close it is. I eat there on Tuesday got the same thing. Was charged the regular price. Tonight I was charge almost double. I get a 3way juice. For 8.69 they called it Tonight sloppy. Ok that's fine it says for sloppy 0.00 then I was charged for a side of chili for a 1.99. I didn't even receive a side of chili. They sad they have always changed that. Not true but ok... plus I ordered 3 hot dogs. Just hot dogs. They are normally 0.98 or .99 depending on the location. The server tried to charged me 4.77 for 3 hot dogs. We did get that straighten out. We're they charged me .99 for each one. But they still charged the 1.99 for something I did not ordered or received. That is wrong and not right. I will go to the one up in Mt. Orb or eastgate from now on. Plus i will let everyone around me to know not to go to this location. That they will be better off at another restaurant. Because I was scammed at this location or they are hiking price out of no were to line there pockets...
