Maine Street Design Co. — Local services in Bath

I wanted to love this store and I thought I did, until I found the same product in New Bedford, MA. We fell in love with these throw blabkets, and even more with the story of how they are made with recycled saris in India. The price at Maine Street was 85 bucks, in New Bedford they were 34 and 25 percent off!! On top of the price difference, the biggest shock was the owner, who does the purchasing, almost laughing when I asked if they were actually made from saris.

I dont mind paying for a product, and it if it supports a group,but what a shame to make up a story to try and push a sale.
