Each of my trips to Maine includes a visit to Renys. In between those times, I can experience Renys at home in Indiana when I wear my Keen all-terrain shoes, slip on my well-worn Crocs, eat cereal from my kitschy lobster bowl, or treat myself to a chocolate Necco candy wafer, another New England institution. As evidenced by my variety of Renys purchases, Renys offers a tremendous selection of quality everyday little-bit-of-everything. My usual vacation home base is in Bath, so “my” Renys is the two-level store in the heart of downtown, but I’ve also stopped by the location in Wiscassett....

Smack dab in the middle of Front Street in Bath, offering a little bit of everything for the casual shopper. Prices range from $-$$$. Shoes, food, clothes for all sexes and ages, toys, games, outdoor gear, tools, cleaning products, and Carhartt clothes among the myriad items for sale within. Some things can be pricey, but typically only for the higher-end goods.
