Popped into mockingbird this past week to grab a book for my vacation as I read through the two I brought. The store is small but plentiful! I saw all the latest sellers and was able to find within a quick 15 minute pop in a book I had never read, nor heard of by an author I am familiar with. I hate to say anything negative about a small business, but there is an alarming amount of books that would be considered propaganda or left wing extremism. Think books about defunding the police and telling kids they can change their gender at any age. In honor of Independent Bookstore on Saturday, I wanted to make sure that I did :) The staff of Mockingbird Bookshop is so friendly, the atmosphere inviting and it is located in the adorable city of Bath.
