Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Beaumont

The worst ever!!! Especially on a Valentine’s Day!!! I was charged for a buffet I expressed I wasn’t going to eat… I asked how much it would be for a salad due to my diet and not eating all day. I’m told it’s part of the buffet. I said I’ll just take a water instead and my daughter can eat. I’m then I’m charged with not only for the buffet but a drink as well. When I looked at the cashier I said so I’m supposed to be charged all i wanted was salad. I said you know what I can just wait until the line goes down. 15 min go by mind you I’m at the first table right across from the register I finally decided to get up and ask for a manager in which two came to fill in at the register she stated she didn’t know what was going she’s normally informed I stated I understand that we are now moving on 20 minutes and I’m just now being presented with that option of paying for a to go salad At this point my daughters full she’s only seven and it’s well past a long time, especially when you’re watching other people being taken care of at the register and enjoying their meals I’ll just go ahead and get my refund and she then says well I can deduct the salad from your refund Are you kidding me and this is customer service from management how is this not complimentary at this point I just got my refund and let my daughter enjoy her food As im sitting at the same front table A man comes in with his two kids gets the Buffet lets the cashier know the kids are just gonna have water she replies with “well we can’t take the drinks off” .. When comparing every pizza place that I have had food as well as the options such as pasta different kinds of pizza including dessert pizza salad etc. Is great. You can get ahold buffet which includes your salads your soups your pizza and dessert for a little more than half of the price that you would pay for one pizza anywhere else. And let me remind you, it's a buffet and all you can eat. And the food is good what more can you ask for except for a little fresh sweet tea in which they have. We found it exceptionally neat that you are able to order the kind of pizza that you like personally and they will make it for you and bring it to you whenever they are done. The bathrooms were clean and had toilet paper and paper towels and soap as most places should. You can dress casual. As a matter of fact while we were there we saw a girl from Hogwarts sporting her fashionable robe. And in the back, the best thing awaits ... GAMES! So the kids, and people like me can have some fun while waiting on the others to finish up. This is a wonderful place to bring your kids. Everything was wonderful and the only thing that I can think could improve in my opinion is the employees and the energy that they put off. None of them we're very friendly or welcoming. They seemed as if they were distraught and did not want to be there. But who knows, they might just be having a bad day. This will not keep me from going back. Oh yeah and to-go...

I am sad to say over the years I brought my grandchildren there to ea, I have also patronized Cici's when I wanted pizza. I have fallen on hard time and just one day October 6, 2015 around 5:45 p.m. I did not have money to buy food. I had been out all day looking for work and I was hot, tired and hungry. Because of me being a devoted patron I thought one time I would be granted one free meal I asked for the manager and explained to him my dilemma and also presented my ID and wiling to sign an IOU ticket to let him know that this was a one time need. Sad to say he listened, but due to company policy, the abuse of others in need of a handout and I was denied the help. My heart was saddened and it was a wake up call that the good does suffer for the bad. Where is the compassion for other in today's society? Everybody falls on hard time sometimes even the proprietor of Cici's has beeen hungry once in his life and some one fed him.. I left there ashamed .I did tell the Manager thank you for listening and I respect his honsety and that I would continue to patronize Cic's when I can...
