I went to Kohl's hoping that I could find an item that I could apply my Kohl's cash too and found a couple of other items on the side, then I saw a lady who wasn't associate and I asked her could you possibly tell me what the price is because it was on the clearance rack and then she pulled out her device and she looked at the tag which didn't have a traditional universal product code but it did have some codes on there and I guess you know which one that she entered in and it's $1 I don't know like 50 cents will say however when I got the item to the register the cashiers at the register didn't know how and I was trying to explain to them how she looked and I said I don't know which one it was could be these or it could be those you know but I don't know they didn't try they looked up an item on their device I don't know they never let me see it I guess it was something in comparison and told me that it was $50 and I said well no that's okay you can keep it because your other associate looked it up on her device and it said $10 and it was either $30 or 50 cent and she said the cashier said and I quote well I wish you was here to do it and I said okay well you could take that item off and they took it off the register I paid for my other item applied my Kohl's cash to the other item and I said thank you and goodbye and left the store but it really was no it was a feeling that made me feel that they didn't even bother to try and that's why I give it the one store in this rating. I should have went back to look for the other associate so that she could have assisted her co-workers at the register maybe she could have given them some tips on how not to be so dry with...
Read moreMy wife was approached by another customer outside of the store while in her car. This customer accused my wife of stealing. Customer tried to pass herself off as an employee of the store. My wife went back into the store to ask the employees if this customer was even an employee, and they seemed hesitant to answer. This other customer and my wife had another exchange in the store and this is when the (I assume) manager came out to deescalate the situation. The cashier working told the manager that my wife was shouting at this accuser customer outside, (but how can the cashier know anything that happened if the cashier was INSIDE the store during the initial confrontation). The manager and cashier seemed to only take sides of this customer who accused my wife. Didn't even try to tell the other customer that she was in the wrong for what she did, only tried to say, "We told her not to go after you". So be careful about shopping here, because you might get chased down by another customer about stealing when you really didn't because they might just be nosey and assume things they shouldn't. Just for information this other customer's license plate number is 9AGM556. So if you see this vehicle in any parking lots, be careful as the owner of this vehicle may accuse you of stealing something...
Read moreWent to spend $50 Kohls Cash and return an item. I planned to purchase a women's watch. One women's watch in the entire store (mismarked) over $100. Found 3 items in my size (not XS or 3X) on regular priced items, and 1 item on clearance. Noone in that store gets paid enough to hear my complaints, but they had to. Ultimately, Went to Walmart for a watch and found several items in my size and price range. Too much like Ross or Marshall's, and too many gimmicks. I will be paying off my account tomorrow and closing it. They can keep their $10 Kohl's cash and another $20 applied to the account on September 1st. What an insult to my intelligence. Please note: Compliments 3 months ago, and I agree with them. I LOVED the Kohl's in Beaumont. Friendly staff, 9rgan8zed and clean. Highly recommended it to family members who lived 30 miles or more from Beaumont. However, since corporate made these drastic changes, the employees are clearly frustrated. I just pray for the employees working very hard in a chaotic environment for too little money. The employees are doing their best with what little they have...
